"I know that there would be difficulties in running Vladimir Putin for president of the United States. To begin with, he wasnt born in the United States. But that was not an insurmountable obstacle for the incumbent. If Putin, who was born in what was then called Leningrad, were to produce documents indicating that he was in fact born in Nairobi, there should be no problem. After President Obamas ad hominem attack on Putins posture and attitude in their diplomatic dealings, Putin is bound to get the sympathy vote from former high school goof-offs who also slouched at the back of their classrooms and looked bored while listening to pompous fools. We all know that there are quite a few such people in the electorate. Putin would have a clear edge in experience over any other candidate who might run in 2016, even the Grand Duchess Hillary. He would be the only one who had ever served before as the president of a country. By granting political asylum to Edward Snowden, Putin probably has locked up the vote of people on the Left who consider Obama a war criminal and are hot to find an alternative candidate. Who could be more alternative than Putin? Putin has two other virtues that Obama lacks. He loves his country, and he is exactly what he claims to be. When he was running in 2008, Obama promised that if he were elected, it would be springtime in America. All the old devious political devices, all the corruption, all the unrelenting partisanship, would be swept aside. Putin, his handlers tell me, will run on the single slogan: No more bull(*)(*)(*)(*)! For those who voted for Obama and later thought better of it, this would be irresistibly enticing. But what about national security? I hear you cry. Would it be wise to place the reins of our government in the hands of a Russian national, a man who in the past was our sworn enemy, and who continues to have indisputable ties to his mother country? (Meaning Kenya, that is.) Well, lets put it this way. If Putin had been president of the United States during the past year, today we would have no idea who the Tsarnaev brothers were, and there would be no fugitive assassins still roaming Libya (if in fact there still was a Libya). The only important thing that would be the same would be a national media slavishly beholden to the government. It is tempting to wonder what an election contest between Putin and Obama would be like, but of course the president is legally barred from running again. On the other hand, I am sure Attorney General Holder and his staff can figure out how to draft an Executive Order that cancels out that little glitch. And, as usual, the Republicans, rather than protest, would curl up in a ball and suck their thumbs."
and another plus he likes real guns not like obama shooting a sissy looking skeet shot gun
you know the more read up on him i like him, he was discipline and a rebel he had a rough childhood his brothers all died very sad. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Putin
I would vote for him.......he encourages pro-white policies in Russia........and now that candidates for Presdent no longer have to be natural born citizens, he's a perfect fit. Maybe we could merge Russia and the US to counter the increasing threat of the yellow peril out of China
Pretty sick. I don't know that there was a single fact within that pathetic ramble. I'm guessing your "footnotes" are spread out among Rush, Beck, Fox News, Drudge, and the Republican National Committee.
Shoot the sick and the dying, save on band-aides, I prescribe death. I'd like to see that ring before I shoot you in the face grandma.
come on fess up, uncle fess you really just full of HATE towards putin because of his stance on homosexuals
Putin is a KGB thug who is slowly turning Russia into a dictatorship again. You would be an absolute fool to want him as a leader. Strong men often make good leaders true, and Putin is a strong man yes, but not the type you want to rule you. He manipulates the media, gives himself leadership of the country through sham elections, encourages people to hate on gays and minorities to distract them from their real problems, and engages in draconian, asinine foreign policy all while saying he's making Russia stronger. Guess who else made Russia stronger while engaging in similar political tactics. Stalin. But no one in their right mind should like him. A good strong leader is a person like George Washington, they know ho to fight when they need too, they know how to lead, and they know when to leave. Putin is not like that at all.
i see the gay rights rally's are being outlawed and is considered propagayndist, its true most of the groups are back by foreign lobbyist and Hollywood socialistic liberal commie types from the usa
The man is an ex-secret policeman who helped install a kleptocracy and who is very far from being a true democrat. We need Putin like we need a hole in the head (something he would no doubt arrange for a few of his American critics once he was in office).
Doesnt this belong in the humor section? I mean its not funny but it appears to be a poor attempt at humor.
Yeah, people seem to forget he has had at least one journalist poisoned to death for speaking out about him. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Litvinenko_poisoning "...this may be the time to say one or two things to the person responsible for my present condition. You may succeed in silencing me but that silence comes at a price. You have shown yourself to be as barbaric and ruthless as your most hostile critics have claimed. You have shown yourself to have no respect for life, liberty or any civilised value. You have shown yourself to be unworthy of your office, to be unworthy of the trust of civilised men and women. You may succeed in silencing one man but the howl of protest from around the world will reverberate, Mr Putin, in your ears for the rest of your life. May God forgive you for what you have done, not only to me but to beloved Russia and its people."
