No one can define atheism without using the word "belief", which clearly you see the word multiple times in your own definition.

I tried to edit my post to add it, but I ran out of time, so I figured I'd address that later.

God can deny you if you deny Him, but once you become a part of Him, then he cannot deny you anymore, because you are a part of Him and He cannot deny Himself.

Eternal life means eternal life. It's eternal, so you can't lose it. Period.

Also understand that Jesus died for all of your sins; past, present and future. Eternal life is a free gift and it wasn't given to you based on anything you did or will do. So, if you believed in Jesus Christ and then decided to be a hardcore atheist, then you will go to heaven, whether you like it or not.

 

That's great to hear! So I'm pretty sure that as I type this you will be doing the right thing and removing all non-scientific stuff from your holy texts, such as if you're a Christian removing the part about a man living in a big fish for 3 days, and about "raising the dead" (because no sane person believes in zombies, of course.) I'm impressed that you're doing that! Congratulations on embracing science and reason.

Doesn't matter. You're going to heaven no matter what you believe now. There's nothing I can do or say about it. Nothing.

No one believed the world was round in 1400 BC. No one believed the world floated in space during the turn of the first century. No one believed the universe was expanding until the 1920s, and no one believed the Orion Star Cluster was gravitationally unstable until the early 2000s.

 

Again. What makes you think they won't be there?

Here's the thing. If they died and saw that God existed, wouldn't they become believers right away? Isn't that where the problem lies? If God were to show himself to them, then they'll believe instantly. So, why wouldn't they make it to heaven? Could you possibly explain that to me?

 

Because I REFUSE to go there, not while some members of my family burn and burn and burn some more for choosing science over Jesus' magic. Jesus is immoral. Christianity is immoral. Leave unfair and immoral belief systems.

WHICH invisible friend did he choose? Zeus, Thor, Wotan, Nanook, Allah, Jesus, Krishna? There have been tens of thousands of gods/prophets, so a person can't just say "god", but have to pick which particular one. For example, they are mutually exclusive - Allah did not have a son, and Jesus was not crucified on the cross according to one major religion that has Jesus as the Messiah (Islam, "Isa" is Jesus, and has an entire chapter of the Qur'an).
Christians and Muslims who believe they worship the same "god" are mistaken, of course.

Strangely I don't see the word belief in the meaning you give it. Even belief in the phrase 'lack of belief' is qualified by the words 'lack of'.

I've given you scriptures which refute your claims, and the claims of the Baptist Minister. If you wish to close your eyes to them that's up to you.

Bah! Your family members aren't going to burn. Mainstream theology attempts to convince people they will, but when you examine the original Hebrew and Greek of the bible, hell is never mentioned. Ever. Hell was a concept designed to control people. Nowadays, its backfiring and many people in the west are turning to atheism. However, eastern Christians don't believe in hell and it's thriving there. Now, I wonder why that is
