One who was killed when by the officers own admittance he had not determined if she was armed, did not even see her hands before he shot.

cops, like citizens do not have to speak to police.... they can lawyer up

I do agree cops should try to question them, but they rarely do, the brothers in blue code (though mostly probably cause they know they know to lawyer up and cops do not trust cops questioning them)

no one should trust a cop questing you, get a lawyer... cops are not your friend

She AbsaByGodLutely was armed with an angry mob, screaming bloody murder at our Congress (only a few feet further down the hall) and armed with polls, fists (which they demonstrated the lethality of by destroying two sturdy doors) that outnumbered Byrd by at lest 25 to one. If their threats didn't convince you of their intent they left no doubt in my mind they would have killed any Congress person they got a hold of.

What's amazing is your attempt(s) to obfuscate the serious, violent and deadly situation Officer Byrd faced (alone) that day.

Floyd was already in handcuffs. What purpose was there to kill him?

When there is a question to be asked, an investigation is necessary. When the person shot is breaking and entering by climbing through a window into an area they have not even an arguable right to be present in, threatening national security, what question is there to ask? She came to a nat sec restricted area with a mob, broke in, and got what people who break in to occupied structures can reasonably expect: Getting shot in the face just as soon as they breach the premises.
If someone had shot her ass crawling through their business or residential window, on tape, in full view of dozens of witnesses who were interviewed, I'd likewise not think an investigation was necessary as its an obvious justified shooting.

This isn't thinking you can tase someone and pulling your sidearm instead, chanting a magic litany to change that, then plugging the bastard with your partner in the line of fire.
This is shooting someone breaking and entering alongside a mob into a room filled with a goodly portion of the federal government and part of the presidential succession.
They are vastly different occurrences and you know that.

No point in me stating the obvious again. just don't breach a doorway protecting the people on the inside from the people on the outside. That was dumb and tragic.

That shot stopped the further breach of the last perimeter, so I would consider that successful in keeping the inner occupants safe from the mob outside.

Breaking and entering into a nat sec area is a bit more than simple trespass dear. Pull the other one.

No purpose, but Ashli was unarmed and not a physical threat. Why wasn't she tazed? Why was lethal force applied? I believe the shot was fired indiscriminately as there has been no detai why Ashli was targeted and others were breaking in at the same time.

Holy **** are you ****ing serious right now? A shot in the ****ing air? A shot into a backstop you can't tell what's there? You realize shooting into the air is by definition reckless discharge of a firearm.... right?
    Warning shots? Same thing.
You do that, you're going to end up in prison.

Because she was breaking and entering into a nat sec restricted area filled with a goodly portion of the federal government alongside a mob and was therefore an imminent threat just as soon as she breached that door.
Same would apply if someone tried to climb in my office window with a mob behind them, I'd shoot them right in the ****ing head with this pistol I keep in my desk drawer.

So lethal force can now be used simply against stupid decisions? Who was under an imminent threat of death by Babbitt?

Is there a reasonable speculation it was an accidental shot, yes because he only shot once when law enforcement is taught to fire multiple times to stop and imminent threat of death against someone. Watch the video, the office his highly agitated and acting nervous. He never saw her hands, she was barely through the broken window. If he was justified to take that shot then why didn't the police line up at the tunnel and just start firing at the protesters who were trying to get it, they would have had the same justification. Even more to the point why didn't any of the officers on her side of the door not even try to stop her AT ALL let alone draw their weapons and shoot her.

And why no statement from him, if it was a perfectly lawful justified shooting why didn't he give his statement of events to investigators, he fired under color of law let's get his statement under oath not under some friendly news interview.

So did the officers on her side of the door, how many shot at her?

I still maintain the sound of a shot fired into the air would have done the same thing as the chaos of the moment would seem to allude to the fact not many knew Ashli had been shot. The presence of the National Guard as offered by President Trump and denied by Pelosi would have definitely kept everyone safe!

I'm not even sure if the cop had a tazer on him. Regardless, she wasn't "targeted." She was the one breaking past the barricade. She was the first one in, encouraging the violent mob to follow her.

She wasn't "targeted." She self-selected. In ANY remotely similar situation, the RW would be fine with lethal force being used in this situation. I've seen the RW celebrate lethal force or lethal threats for far, far less.

Those officers had gone downstairs before she jumped in the window. They weren't there when she was breaching.

The Executive branch slow-rolled the NG requests. And no law enforcement organization in the country trains their officers to fire warning shots in the air. There's good reason for that. You should ask literally any LEO about it.

So you are OK with police killing people and not having to give statements about their actions? Instead of addressing the issue you believe you can turn it about me instead? I have called for all the protesters who turned violent to be fully prosecuted, would you be more satisfied if more had killed on the spot, is that who you want such protest to be handled in the future now?

Can you imagine if in one of the recent other police shootings they announce the officer involved refused to give a statement or write their report and so they were just going to drop all the charges.
