Trump really like slide shows, graphs, and pictures. He is having a lot of fun with these pictures. DUMBED DOWN (so that Trump's Simple Mind can comprehend.)
Do they just let Jim Acosta in for the humor? Kinda like how a nerd may be invited to a cool kid party in high school?
Trump is now rambling about the Impeachment "Hoax" and he gives himself an A+. Now he is trashing the Democrats calling it a Phony Deal. He is rambling about Comey and McCabe and he has totally blown any credibility that he (may have) had. He couldn't help himself. He was acting "civil" for awhile, then somebody lobbed him a question about Impeachment and he blew his top. What an Immature, PETTY, Imbecile.
Just got back from shopping I am able to get toilet paper and paper towels. What I can't get is isopropyl alcohol.
Isopropyl alcohol has stumped me too. I didn't think to buy it early (January) with the rest of my preps, and then it was gone, at reasonable prices, anyway. A pint of 70% or even 99% alcohol for $20 just isn't worth it. I have the rest of my bottle, then I will see. Maybe I will distill my own!
A lot of hard booze companies have shifted production to make alcohol for sanitizers. There will probably be a booze shortage soon.
I don't want to start a thread on this, but wanted to post this news about the situation faced by the USS Theodore Roosevelt -- an aircraft carrier which is reporting a lot of cases on board with the US military not knowing exactly how to handle their situation. https://edition.cnn.com/2020/03/31/politics/aircraft-carrier-coronavirus-outbreak/index.html Commander of aircraft carrier hit by coronavirus outbreak warns Navy 'decisive action' is needed
We should follow Sweden's lead....everything open and functioning......bigger death rate per capita but when the smoke clears THEY will have an ECONOMY.....we will NOT...
Yesterday, the three countries that took a more laissez-faire approach to the virus (the UK, The Netherlands, and Sweden) reported respective death totals of 563, 134, and 59. That is approximately 2-3x worse on a per capita basis that the number reported by the US yesterday.
If a treatment is found before the next wave, Sweden will regret their decision on taking that path and will have the highest mortality rate in the world by the end of the year. if no treatment is found Sweden will be relieved to have found that they are right. So back to your "we should follow", that must mean that you don't believe all the hype about that chloroquine being a cure
