If the Democrats hadn't put up such a baggage laden, corrupt, unliked, candidate that they chose four years ago to be the next in line for the presidency, Trump would have been soundly beaten. The Democrats jury rigged their primaries and this is their just rewards.

 

There's nothing mysterious about their reason, they oppose the EC because the EC kept their candidate from winning. If Donald Trump got the popular vote but lost the EC, the left would be on here thanking the God they don't believe in for the EC, since it kept him from becoming President.

They'll support whatever helps them achieve their agenda.

Next time choose your candidate via the primary system and not four years in advance in a meeting between Obama, Bill and Hillary prior to the 2012 election. Whether someone is good or bad is in the eye of the beholder. Myself, I do not believe in choosing which poison to drink or voting for evil even if that evil is a bit less than the other or one glass of poison is a bit diluted more than the other. You still end up drinking poison or knowingly voting for evil. I didn't, I voted third party. The same as 10% of Sanders supporters did who dubbed her, Wall Street Hillary. How many stayed home, perhaps we will never know.

But when folks don't like either candidate, that is what they do. They stay home or vote third party. Although quite a lot do hold their nose and vote for the perceived least worst candidate.

We vote in 50 separate elections. Its embarrassing that I need to explain this to someone from the U.S. but.... Its called the "United States of America" because we are 50 separate states united under a federal government. AS A FACT, the majority of the United States as evidenced by the electoral vote, voted for Trump. 57% to be exact. The popular vote just means there are more idiots congregated together in California and here in MA, where we teach children that they need play doh, coloring books, petting ponies and safe spaces. The forefathers thought of this concept and is why we as a United States unanimously decided to be a constitutional republic, not a democracy. It prevents states like California and Massachusetts from massing illegals and letting them vote. They can amass all of the illegal votes they want but in the end they only get so many votes...as a state for the President. Is it perfect no, but no one on planet earth has come up with a better system to date.
