Covid-19 vaccines safer than aspirin and Tylenol

LOL so you're all gung-ho to think about testing but it's a big no-no when it comes to the impact of lockdowns? And how about the continual decline in 2021 when neither of those issues are in place? Ignoring that too? Hmmm, I think we can safely call all THAT cherry picking.

The only reason I'm using the cases/deaths data is to give context to the totals you keep insisting on using which, WITHOUT context, are ABSOLUTELY MEANINGLESS.

For instance, what if a clever English-speaking math-savvy alien visited and said, prove to me that the vaccine isn't working and you showed them your two year death totals. They'd say, how on earth does that prove anything? Maybe one year there were 10,000,000 cases and in the other year there were 20,000,000. That would mean it's WORKING, right? But if there were 30,000,000 cases and then 15,000,000 that would mean it WASN'T working. You need to give me that context so I can KNOW if it's really working or not. Otherwise you're just giving me numbers that don't prove anything. What would you say? Please just believe me, because I think it's not working. That wouldn't fly, at all.

Or let's say you wanted a low-maintenance dog and asked your vet how many times poodles and labradors went to his clinic. He might say he saw 15 poodles and 50 labradors last month. You might say, great, I'll get a poodle - they don't need the vet so much. He'd say, not so fast. There are only 30 poodles in town and 500 labradors. Labradors are the dogs that don't need the vet so much. According to you, it would be enough to know that he saw 15 poodles and 50 labradors, and you'd get the poodle, lol.

Long story short, the proper SCIENTIFIC thing to do is go where the data IS meaningful, and readily available, instead of thrashing about in the weeds concocting weird-and-wacky home-spun methodologies that essentially involve no more than gazing at two numbers. In short, why don't you do yourself a favor and just go look at the CDC stats for hospitalizations and death data that will tell you everything you want to know about vaccine efficacy.

Well, I know why not. Because (a) it's not what you want to hear and/or (b) they're all part of a big conspiracy.

 

How would they know? There are no long term studies done.

60 years is a long time.
