    Its not a conspiracy theory, demonstrably we funded gain of function research in wuhan. Demonstrably, that was against the law/regulations in place under US law for a US source to do that.
    Demonstrably, Fauci lied about that and has been caught perjuring himself.
    The reason we didn't allow gain of function funding in china, was because we were afraid of a goof exactly like this one. A goof made worse because the chinese wouldn't cop to it and wanted to say it came out naturally from a market. Which it didn't. If they'd simply admitted to a lab leak, and turned over the information they had on what they had been cooking up and studying, it all would've been lessened.
    We would've quarantined china immediately, we likely wouldn't have had a global pandemic.

    Nooo. Vaccines are too dangerous. My wife's cousin's friend got a TERRIBLE headache and she was vaccinated one time against something. Much better to just go beat up the Chinese kid who delivers stuff. I never did like him anyway.

    The vaccine helps mitigate the transmission, along with wearing a mask if you are showing symptoms, or keeping a social distance as well. the problem we have in this country is twofold: first, we have this attitude it will never happen to me, and second, we think it is macho to go to work while sick, showing the symptoms, etc and not take the proper precautions. No common sense in this country if someone is sick and then goes out sick, coughing, sneezing, etc, and having this belief that it s them that will get it and not us, mentality.

    Currently, in 8 states, hospitals have a bed occupancy of 80% or more because of Covid, influenza, and RSV among the elderly, children, and immunosuppressed individuals.

    SARS and Covid are two seperate viruses and affect people differently. they are related, but not the same. Kinda of like your uncle is not your father. They are related, but not the same.
