Cruz: GOP could face 'bloodbath of Watergate proportions' on Election Day

Republicans are now beginning to express their fears of a tsunami which will drown most GOP candidates in the election.

Donald Trump has no chance of recovering from his deficit of popularity in the polls and will face a resounding defeat which will drown the GOP in red ink.

The GOP will be heading for oblivion as most voters believe the country is not headed in the right direction and the management of the COVID pandemic has been patently incompetent if not criminally negligent.

After November 3 Donald Trump will be frog-marched into oblivion.

They have themselves to blame. They let themselves get swallowed in the conspiracy theory, did nothing on the domestic front and then Pelosi REALLY did nothing on the domestic front.

Also, it sucks for senators and representatives to feel the heat for the decisions the governors made to deal with the coronavirus. But I suspect it's because many of them aren't up for re-election which is a huge part of the reason they did this.

 

For once I sincerely hope and pray Teddy boy is correct !!!

I love how the only hope democrats have is that a virus caused chaos and the governors shut down the states and the democrats refuse to open them back up.

It will certainly mean a REAL test/trace/isolation program on a national scale

Whatever they do will be based on SCIENCE and what medical experts recommend

 

That explains why many Democrats have gone on the air hoping for an economic collapse and praising the benefits Covid has given them.

 

You could put a bunch of gender experts on it maybe.

 

They brought it on themselves with their endless enabling of the most corrupt president in our history. They handed Trump their collective cajones on a silver platter, all for the sake of tax breaks for the rich and courts packed with conservative justices.

When the dust settles and they see themselves voted out of office, especially the Senators, they should remember the dumbest statement ever made by one of them, after voting NOT to remove an impeached president from office. Susan Collins said "I think he's learnt his lesson." After this election, perhaps she and a few others will have learned theirs.

 

If that's what it takes to end the carnage that has killed more than 211,000 Americans ...

And what I choose to believe is that the DNC is scheming, and has been scheming for the better part of Trump's term for this moment, this opportunity. And I'm even admitting that not even Trump can overcome the negative publicity that the media has shone on his administration and campaign.

So okay, it's Biden's turn but you lose "orange man bad" as a refrain for everything that went wrong. We know about the Obama terms and the Bush excuse from 2008-2010. I'm not going to give that excuse. Biden's first 100 days, are his first 100 with no exception.

It's a national emergency. Until COVID-19 has been beaten down, we all need to cooperate via the only methods we have at our disposal to control the spread and save lives. That isn't authoritarian, it's sensible action based on science. It's temporary. Authoritarianism is not.

What you see as authoritarian, I see as a civic duty to save American lives and get past this pandemic so we can get back to some semblance of normal. Refusing to mask up is thoughtless and inconsiderate.
