Not being one to defend Dixon but am I the only one who understood what he meant by perversion? He was clearly referring to what he sees as perversion of the Constitution.

 

I believe it was a Freudian slip. The term came to his mind not out of a "wronging" of the Constitution...but his view of homosexuals.

Of course we could try asking him a direct question....and see if he gives a direct answer, i.e.

I'm pro nuclear family which doesn't involve homosexual couples in their formation. I am opposed to government giving equal preference to homosexual parents that they currently give biological parents.

I'm an atheist and don't make such religious judgements. Those that do would probably say yes. But then, so are my sexual practices outside of marriage.

To translate for those who didnt know, that would be an answer of NO. DO YOU consider homosexuality a perversion and thats why you immediately associated the word with homosexuality?
