These could even be illegal donations from the inside that violate amount limits. Many could claim Soros. I’m not pointing fingers at anyone, but this is definitely some food for thought.

All fundraisers allow credit card donations, this is not something that is exclusive to ActBlue. Furthermore, if the concern is credit card transactions, then the emphasis should be on credit card transactions

and for the record, ActBlue report all of their contributions to the Federal Election Commission, not the banks.

 

the donations are not anonymous.. they give their name and social security number and use a credit card

 

if someone wanted to donate more, they could just give to a pac, as much as they want, so doesn't matter anymore, the rich can donate as much as they want

yep, with super pacs there is no reason to try to cheat the 2500.00 limit, just donate to the super pac, as much as one wants

why would someone go through that much effort to donate more then $2800.00 when they could just donate to a super pac?

If you don't think every donation on public donation lists aren't scrutinized by opposing groups and parties, you are incredibly naive.

But critics, including the Action Fund, contend that the website allows credit card donations that are not verified, so anyone from any country in the world can donate without a paper trail...

 

But every name is traced and matched to prior donations, voting history, etc. If any donation was in question someone will follow up. To believe otherwise in the face of billion dollar campaigns... alien abductions are more likely.

Let Wall Street and business make money, the benefits would trickle to everyone.

The pattern of disinvestment in American heavy industry, which had been apparant for some time, continued, dispite the lower taxes on investment and wealth.

The money went to the growing economies, where the return is best.

And that’s still the pattern, as you just noted.
