A depressing thought. Something about the smiling trusting faces of these dopes has really affected me.

At some point you realise that it isn't 'coming from a good place', this need to speak well of everything and everyone (except conservatives, of course). These are not innocent, smiling trusting faces. These are the faces of the smug and safe, exercising the vanity of 'compassion'.

But I'll agree they are children. Such folk are almost always white First Worlders, and even then are always from the middle class or above. They are people who think that because nothing bad has ever happened to them in their Safe Ivory Towers, then bad things aren't real. Because everyone they mix with is Just Like Them (and I'm talking only of the intimates in their lives - not the brown owners of their favourite Thai restaurant), they think that means the whole world is Just Like Them. Aka, free to be full of largesse and 'kindness' on account of safety and wealth.

They are like 3 year old Princelings, who have no concept of desperation, or murder, or starvation, or terror.

ISIS seems a lot more constrained with Trump running the show as compared to Obama.

I'm sure you aren't suggesting the US invade Tajikistan over these two murders.

I will say it seems absurd to have a space force rather than expanding the mission of the Air Force.
