A Massachusets Democrat running for Congress has vowed to impeach Justice Clarence Thomas, the second black man in history to serve on the Supreme Court, if she is elected.


State Sen. Barbara L’Italien will be running for Congress this coming midterm and has made #MeToo one of her corner platforms by vowing to hold powerful men accused of sexual misconduct accountable. According to The Washington Times, L’Italien claims that Clarence Thomas is guilty of both sexual harassment and perjury based on the testimony of Anita Hill, who accused the justice during his confirmation hearings of harassing her while in his employment.


"There is an elephant in the room for Congress in the #MeToo era," L’Italien said. "Our leaders have to start talking about it. Two of the most powerful men in the country have been credibly accused of sexual crimes and gotten away with it."


Despite the allegations against Thomas, Anita Hill's testimony was deemed not credible by several women who worked under him. Evidence also showed that Anita Hill contacted him several times following her employment.



This is the new, and even more UNHINGED LEFT. Those still associating with the Democratic Party must live in a state of embarrassment, or they are wacky in their own rights.

I am a Democrat who saw Republican Clarence Thomas be approved as justice of the Supreme Court in 1991, in spite of strong evidence he sexually assaulted females in the workplace. A few years later I saw the same Republicans tear a President apart for the exact same sexual conduct, and even impeach him. Then, in another about face, in 2016, I saw a Republican presidential candidate get full support of the Republican Party after a crass, deeply revealing video tape showed sexual misconduct unbecoming a Presidential Candidate, and certainly a President. That party now defends that President as if sexual misconduct was nothing to worry about and completely acceptable. This illustrates how far that Republican Party is willing to go, and how willing they are to abandon any connection to moral values when holding onto power is an issue. To be fair, there have been nasty, contemptible democrats in power as well, but as a party, democrats still stand for values taught by our major religions that have been abandoned by the current Republican conservatives.

A few years later, I saw a serial abuser stare the Nation in the face and claim he did not have sexual relations with a young girl he blew his load on. And the left holds him up as a hero, with his wife now an avenging angel.

So here we are today, with hypocritical members of the New Democratic Party, manufacturing outrage, while claiming a moral high ground.

You must not have really watched the show trial where they attacked him. Anita Hill was a joke. She had multiple other women contradict her and call her out that worked with them. She also reached out to Clarence Thomas multiple times after she was employed. She was not credible.

Ahhhh it was Anita Hills only supporting witness who had to withdraw her testimony else face a perjury charge. Hill NEVER presented a case of sexual harassment and her own behavior flew in the face of any accusations. Remember it was David Brook the avoid hater of all things conservative and Trump who exposed her unsupported and specious claims.

 

There was not a shred of evidence Clarence Thomas ever sexually assaulted a female in the workplace. There was never an ACCUSATION he sexually assaulted any female in the workplace or outside the workplace. HIll never made a claim Thomas sexually assaulted her so you were quite blind during those days else simply making things up.

No you did not. You saw Republicans when hand prima facie evidence the President of the United states had walked into a federal court committed perjury, obstruction of justice and witness tampering in a federal civil rights lawsuit and then committed perjury and obstruction of justice before a federal grand jury having to do with a federal civil rights lawsuit get impeached for those FELONIES. And then you saw Democrats say that sexual harassment and sexual assault and perjury and obstruction of justice and witness tampering did not amount to removal from office.

So on what basis does the left want to remove Thomas from office?

Ahhhh you need to turn that around. Clinton abused his power as Governor and President to sexually harass and assault subordinate workers and payoff those who granted him sexual favor and then committed felonies in a federal court trying to cover it up.

And the Democrats said that did not warrant impeachment and removal from office.

All of Trump's sexual misbehavior was consensual and as a private citizen so why would it warrant impeachment and removal from office?

 

I guess I just want us to decide whether or not sexual misconduct is grounds for impeachment & removal or not, and then apply it to all cases whether Democratic or Republican, in exactly the same manner.

 

Listen to the questioning of Thomas by the head of the committee, chief Democrat in charge Joe Biden. Listen how Thomas totally shuts him down with his attempts to inject baseless allegations. Then recall how this and the other Democrats defended Bill Clinton including the felonies he committed. The duplicity of the left, the Democrats could not be more obvious
