If what you say is true, she was behaving responsibly and that would put the guy w-a-y out of bounds.

 

What she was protesting makes no difference.

So now we get the 'special snowflake' argument. Don't care if she is old. Don't care if she's a woman. Don't care if she is catholic. I don't discriminate based on age, creed or gender. Neither does the state representative. If this protester can't take the heat, she stays out of the kitchen.

Sounds like you are blaming the victim.

 

If protesters are victims, then they both are. If protesters are perpetrators, they both are. You cherry-pick which protester you like by her politics and demonizing the one you don't by his politics. I treat them both the same.

 

Maybe to you (see above). As I see it, she should also be treated reasonably if she shows up outside your church and objects to your congregation trying to make it more difficult for a woman to get an abortion.

 

Thats what the story says. Also, it fits what I know about the way pro-life Catholics now protest at abortion clinics. Quiet prayer and quiet discussion is the new rule. It is associated with lower abortion rates (currently we are close to record lows in number of abortions. Lowest since Roe vs. Wade).

At about the 30 second mark, you can clearly see the lady's rosary beads. The only person raising a ruckus is the congressman.

 

He threw a ruckus in a separate incident with minors as well.

 

I'd like to see this democrat state lawmaker step down and perhaps be imprisoned.
