Renee.....it was not me alone that elected president Trump.....I'd guarantee that bey my personal standards, his morals are no darker than yours, (or mine for that matter).

Nobody throws away a national political career just to make a high minded point about sexual abuse (which isn't really intellectually consistent or convincing anyway....okay, I didn't assault anyone but I'm going to step down anyway...does this make sense? No!).

If the women and accusations weren't piling up as more women came forward and the calls to step down getting louder Franken would still be claiming his "memory" of the first reported attack was different than the gropee's.

I'm not crazy about Moore either and it's useful to remember that Trump endorsed Luther Strange and not Roy Moore originally.

From what I've heard people are sticking by Moore precisely because the Washington Post and elitist leftists laugh at them and disdain Alabama anyway. A lot of votes went to Trump for the same reason, I think.
One day the left might realize that when they push people, people push back.

The alleged victim was at the time quite lawful to get married. Does that sound you as if she was say 6 or 7? She was 14 at the time of her claim. She was old enough she wanted to go to his home and to make out with with him. She even partially disrobed per her claims. Her fatal flaw is she waited far too long to expect to be believed right now. I say this respecting her anyway and that she believes what she said.

All I know is Franken freely admitted to crossing boundaries in that rehearsal where he insisted on rehearsing a kiss over this woman's protests and then claimed "I remember events differently" from the woman.

The yearbook that was supposedly signed by Moore belongs to the woman who took on Allred as her attorney and Allred will not release it to a neutral third party. If your "facts" do not align with this scenario you aren't dealing with facts.

 

Translation: Dems keep getting caught on film and so they cannot actually keep denying what everyone KNOWS that they did. GOPers on the other hand keep getting ACCUSED of inappropriate activity but there is one thing generally lacking in those accruals . . . a single shred of . . . proof.

 

NO one thought he wasn’t innocent of inappropriate behavior. He also lies under oath about it and we angry as hell! Don’t you want trump investigated also?

i argued with dozens if not hundreds of Democrats when Clinton was president and they called Ken Starr some pretty nasty minded things. I was hoping to locate one Democrat who was revolted by Clinton. Still looking for one. My lamp of justice is lit and seeking justice.

 

Allred would have authenticated the yearbook inscription before presenting it if it was not an obvious forgery.
I expect her to trot out an expert within the next few days. Too little too late.

Trump was putting women into CEO positions in a time when it was unheard of and in a field where it was unheard of.

The man has been in the public spotlight for 30 or 40 years. Not one claim of racism (quite the opposite in fact by winning multiple awards), and not one claim of sexual abuse (again, quite the opposite).

Trump isn't perfect, none of us are. Immoral though? No.

I certainly don't remember the rehearsal for the skit in the same way, but I send my sincerest apologies to Leeann. As to the photo, it was clearly intended to be funny but wasn't. I shouldn't have done it.

2nd Statement
Picture - no admission of groping or touching.... just admission is was a douchy thing to do....
For instance, that picture. I don't know what was in my head when I took that picture, and it doesn't matter. There's no excuse. I look at it now and I feel disgusted with myself. It isn't funny. It's completely inappropriate. It's obvious how Leeann would feel violated by that picture. And, what's more, I can see how millions of other women would feel violated by it—women who have had similar experiences in their own lives, women who fear having those experiences, women who look up to me, women who have counted on me.
