Democratic senator says he broke with party on coronavirus bill because 'the clock is ticking'

Only one democrat voted to support the American people during the China virus.

Top dems tried to add increasing emissions standards for aircraft (as if the airlines aren't struggling enough), abortion funding, and collective bargaining for union members.

Come November-Americans will not forget the priorities of the democrat party-its certainly not helping the American people.

 

The Dems want to load up the package with the Green New Deal and other leftist programs to "remake American society". They don't give a rat's ass about economic relief for the people.

 

The arguments are over sick leave for workers wanted by the D's and unrestricted unfettered bail outs to corporate America wanted by the R's.

It was the first bit of news I read this morning and before my Keurig and finished my first cup my email was off to him. Later on Facebook the local groups were saying how they had done the same.

It's insane to me that people want to play politics at a time like this.

It should be real simple - keep individuals and business afloat with stimulus until we have the resources to avoid overwhelming the medical infrastructure to the point of picking who lives or dies.

Agreed. It's clear that this is the best path we can take with the information given to us, it's the path government put us on(IE: Whether we like it or not), and now they don't wanna pull the trigger.

I'm not a 'conservative' in the sense of believing that government, as an engine is bad. I believe that government can be good if good people are in it. In Pelosi's "leadership", we're seeing there's not a lot of goodness.

 

Really, what does putting Obamaphones and Global Warming stuff into the bill have to do with the virus?
