What they were saying about Obama was that he wasn't born in the United States.

It was as stupid as people not understanding how we elect presidents.

Trump is holding 17% of the Black vote and about 36% of the Hispanic vote.

The Hispanic channels have been showing the religious desecrations.

If coat tails are involved, the House will change hands.

The 2016 polls showed Clinton's diminishing advantage down to 3.2% a few days before the election, and she received 2.9% more of the vote, an error of 1.1% with the presumption her falling lead continued to fall in those final days when polling was no longer being done.

Yes, Vanilla Biden is Mr "Return to Normalcy" - just the ticket for Americans in 2020, prune-jalapeño having proved to be a very unpopular flavor.

So the only point at which polling is useful is a couple days before the election?
Return to normalcy? Creepy Uncle Joe who is now in cognitive decline? No he's a place holder until he picks a VP.

Republicans are unpopular with enraged Democrats? Who cares?

When did Democrats redefine 1st Amendment "rights"?

Return to the Obama years? That is exactly why Trump won in the Midwest. Minnesota is the next state to be turned.

Joe Biden has full onset Dementia. The DNC is acting like it hasn't happened. But over half of the country now realizes that Joe's boat doesn't float anymore.

When will the left EVER understand that if the Electoral College bothers them so much, they can lawfully change our Constitution...as long as all states have voters OK the proposal. The gathering of signatures to get a proposal onto the state ballot must have identical wording in each state, another drawback, but if the rules are followed it can be done. Or undone, as was Prohibition.

Why is the left afraid to do this? Why do they whine about something but don't ever bother to actually try and change it? Are they afraid of what OTHER proposed amendments might be offered, if a formal Constitutional Convention is convened? Roe v Wade would be gone, surely.

Yeah it's pretty obvious. I wonder why they lie. They aren't fooling anybody except maybe themselves.

It all boils down to his VP. He's painted himself into a corner though. He wants a woman of color. That limits him. I know he asked klobuchar... White is a color I suppose.

what Trump was saying in that tweet storm is Obama won with less votes, and he was upset about it, calling for a revolution

POTUS by the end of 2021, if Biden is elected...

Politico published then quickly deleted an "announcement" that Kamala Harris was chosen on August 1st (Note future date).

Yes. Do you know the difference between Trump cracking down on criminals versus taking away the 1st Amendment rights of "protesters".

Your grasp of the concept of censorship and the 1st Amendment LACKS a great deal of subject matter knowledge!

PRIVATE corporations have every right to CENSOR the content on their servers with impunity.

There is ZERO violation of any 1st Amendment rights when it is done by PRIVATE corporations.

The FACT that extremist rightwing sites post unAmerican DISINFORMATION that is ODIOUS to the MAJORITY of We the People and therefore HARMFUL to the image of the corporations hosting those sites means that it is REMOVED in order to PRESERVE the good names of said corporations and standing in the markets where they operate.

I recommend that your RESEARCH the concept of Censorship before you respond.

All the pontificating aside, it's still leftists censorship. It's their go-to solution for what they don't like.

I get censored here all the time. By anonymous moderators over posts I can't even remember for issues too tiny to recall.

Whether polls are useful - and politicians like Trump who commission them obviously think so - the best any can do is offer a snapshot that reflects how things stand at the time they are conducted. Obviously, stable numbers over time and those that are widening are far more dependable than dynamic ones, when the gap is tightening.

It appears that Trump is winning that race.

The 17% of blacks is impressive. The 36% of hispanics is good but just a little better than the 30-33% Republicans get no matter what.

I think the chances are good and getting better -- subject to the CORVID reaction -- that the Republicans will take back the house this November. Although this can be a mixed bag since often new Republican representatives and senators move over to the establishment soon after the conservatives elect them. Remember it was the Tea Party that took back the house in 2010, which made Boehner speaker, who proceeded to purge the house of Tea Party and conservative influence.

You must have missed all of the media and networks pronouncing a 95% chance of a Hillary election early in the day of the election.
Don't know why the reply post lowered the font size.

You must have missed yesterdays dog and pony propaganda House committee hearing (and I use that term loosely). Barr asked a number of times (in those sparse moments when he was allowed to say anything) if the Dems denounce the rioters. They were unanimous in their refusal to so denounce.
