Maybe. The democrats screwed themselves with Obamacare. People generally don't like when policy actually touches their front door. If the republicans do not do something on healthcare, they are probably going to be short-lived as the only party in charge.

As for the hate stuff, I am a progressive in the south. I know how to pick my battles. This confederacy/KKK stuff is a silly battle.

Hm, I wonder where that leaves the libertarians?

Not portraying themselves as hateful? Go read the thread titles on this forum and come back and tell us all the nasty, hateful threads are started by Republicans.

Or the antifa members who showed up in Charlottesville wearing masks and carrying bats were seeking peaceful solutions?

So far, Democrats have lost 5 special elections since Trump was elected. Curious you think Dems will win the House. What do you think has changed?

Not true... media has convinced you there is chaos. In the real world (incl the WH), it's business as usual.

    I am not a supremacist.

How many times do I have to repeat myself, I am not a liberal. I am a progressive. And yes, there is a fundamental difference. They are not alike. What I said is a generalization of the regions you stated. You know as well as I coal is not returning to what it was in the 80's, and you can blame technology for that. Then I was poking fun at the Christian religion, and thirdly, making light of all the open space in the heartland.

You have it backwards. Trump was elected to DRAIN THE SWAMP and that includes RINOS. We'll be more than happy to elect replacement Republicans as necessary.

Trump CREATED the Charlottesville controversy, and liberals AND moderate conservatives are SHOCKED that radical Trump loyalists would "stand by their man", who appears to be afflicted with an acute case of cognitive dissonance. . . . Bannon was NOT a good choice for a Presidential shrink.

    FB_IMG_1502671865335.jpg

    And President Trump.

Dont be surprised if the whole event wasn't staged by the DNC. I sure wont be. Good thing there's an investigation underway. Violating the civil rights of a white supremist is the same as violating the civil rights of a black man. Its a federal crime.

You're mistaken. Trump had nothing to do with it. At all. Period. End of story.

But the White Nationalists WERE NOT armed???

Sure. . . . Sue the group that sustained the casualties. . . . BOTH groups had permits.

The man supposedly compromised by a foreign country, signed an illegal sanctions bill which was the worst bill ever out of Congress. Amazingly, they found a way to surpass the ACA. If he was compromised, he would've vetoed it(he should've anyway, as it was/is ILLEGAL. An usurpation of power by Congress) or found some way to wiggle out of it.

Equally, there was the Syrian strike as well. So much for compromised.

Hey! you're the one who's acting all offended that Democrats hate Donald Trump, but we saw 8 years of hate towards Barack Obama by the GOP, so what's the point of you starting this thread. All I'm saying is what goes around comes around, KARMA, lifes a bitch, you reap what you sow and the Hypocritical Birther in Chief is getting EXACTLY what he deserves, because he mastered the art of spewing FAKE NEWS during President Obama's Presidency.

Good question. I'm a Democrat, and yes, I'm disappointed with the results of the election, but I'm honestly mystified by all the attention on this forum claiming we Democrats "hate" Trump. I can't speak for all Democrats, but I can speak for myself. I don't "hate" Trump or anyone else. But I am deeply concerned about the quality of the man himself, and the lack of leadership he's demonstrated so far, and the apparent ineptness he demonstrates daily in his job. I'm troubled by his lack of knowledge about many things necessary for a President to succeed, and his lack of understanding about what constitutes American society and its values generally. I'm perplexed by his arrogance, his base behaviors, his impunity toward our international friends, his affection for Russia and Putin, and his inability to compromise under any circumstances ever. I'm concerned about Trump starting a war as a diversion from Mueller's Russian probe. I'm bothered by Trump's inability to value anything other than himself, money, his immediate family, and winning. A President--any President--must care about the nation he serves. Trump doesn't, and I'm profoundly worried about the impact Trump has already had and continues to have on our country and our government.

The thread title is vaguely threatening

Which given the recent reactions from the right is par for the course

I could say the same thing about your party electing the most incompetent president in history... Donald Trump's victory is YOUR Karma.

Are you claiming the Democrats are a strong, vibrant party... ready to sweep the midterms?
