There may just be a DEM landslide in the Senate and House in November thanks to Prof. Ford.

She has plenty of credibility.

There is NOTHING to be gained by a new FBI probe. There's a reason things have statues of limitations. A defendant can be prejudiced if a long time, like 36 years, goes by between the source of the allegation and the investigation. K-boy CANNOT prove a negative. But an FBI probe will give whack jobs accusing him of stuffing drugs up his butt while engaging in 10s, if not hundreds of gang rapes without a single police report of his "crime" being reported timely, plenty of time to continue to cause an innocent man pain while leaving the rest of the country that supports him twisting in the wind.

 

Kavanaugh won't even ask for an FBI investigation.

Kavanaugh does not meet the counsel of 1 Timonthy 3:2 for judging.

Flake wants it both ways, and that is wrong. Either or.

 

For an insult or accusation to be a fallacious, it has to serve to counter some other argument, and it generally needs to be substituted for other reasoning.

For example "X is a corrupt Republican," not an ad hom, just an insulting opinion. "Y raped me," a plain accusation with no fallacious overtones.

"X is a corrupt Republican, so I don't believe anything he says," closer to ad hom, gray area.

"I don't believe X's reasons for supporting tariffs in that editorial because he's a Democrat," textbook ad hominem fallacy.
