Denouncing Dave: Chappelle’s New Comedy Called ‘Homophobic’ and ‘Transphobic’

Once again the far left snowflakes show they can't handle free speech when someone makes jokes about them. I loved the Chappelle show and laughed all the time even when it related more to me like his white people music bit. I have no problem laughing at my own culture if its funny. But some people on the far left just cannot handle anyone making a joke about their pet culture and get triggered to the point that they eat their own as they did here. Dave is certainly no conservative.

This is why so many great comedians wont do colleges anymore because liberals get so triggered so easy everything they don't like is "hate speech"



Comedian Dave Chappelle has come under fire from social media critics accusing him of making “transphobic” and homophobic jokes in his new comedy available on Netflix.

On Tuesday, Dave Chappelle released two new stand-up comedy specials on Netflix—“The Age of Spin: Live at the Hollywood Palladium” and “Deep in the Heart of Texas: Live at Austin City Limits”—that caused a backlash from some viewers, who claimed his jokes about the LGBTQ community were homophobic and transphobic.

In one of the two specials, Chappelle jokes about his wife’s gay friend who “always wants to have some kind of gay political argument.”

“The last one was about a petition in federal court to take the words ‘husband and wife’ out of the law,” the comedian said. “I said, ‘why would you want those words out of the law?’ He said, ‘because it discriminates against same-sex couples.'”

“I was like, ‘N*****, please, save the semantics. Just trust me. Take your chips and get the f**k out the casino. You’re about to crap out. Just go outside, talk that over amongst yourselves, and whichever one of you is gayer that’s the wife,'” sparking laughs in the audience.

Chappelle then turns the subject to transgender people saying, “Of all those letters [LGBTQ], the ‘T’ has the toughest road ahead. In fact, I think the ‘T’ should stand for ‘Tough road ahead.'”

“They’ve got the longest mental gap to bridge, that’s all I’m saying. Because whenever I see one of them Ts on the street, I don’t mind them, but I’ll be like, ‘Man, I miss Bruce,'” in reference to Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner.

When I watched it last night I figured he pissed a few people off. Let them cry, no one forced them to watch

 

Dave has always made jokes about everyone. These groups have to be outraged constantly to jusitify well. Being outraged

 

Comedy has always been subversive when it was good. The fact that some people don't like his comedy is nothing new nor is it a statement about liberals at all. It is simply a statement about political comedy. Ever hear Lenny Bruce? Hell, Cheech and Chong freaked my parents out way back in 72. What a silly top post.

 

It does show how intolerant the left is when the jokes are about them.

Here are some pretty liberal comedians talking about how their audience has changed from liberal to conservative starting about 1 minute in.

 

Funny how the "he's a comedian!" excuse doesn't apply when one of the left's groups is targeted.

 

Of course its about liberals. They are the ones complaining. Where are the "conservaphobic" charges in your fantasy world?

And you really need to educate yourself because Chong himself in that video proved you dead wrong.

 

Is it astounding to you that someone like Chappelle has liberal audiences that might be offended by his jokes about the LGBT community? Do birds flying over head baffle you too?

 

I think I realize the problem some of you have with liberals not being homogeneous. I hate to break it to you but what you call a liberal is really just anyone who is not a right wing conservative reactionary. That leaves a lot of people with all sorts of morals and ideas. Cheech and Chong are in the business of shocking you, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Is this hard for you or do you need remedial training in the humanities?

Nahhh, Chappelle is funny as hell He's always made jokes about races and cultures.

 

Too bad Jesus isn't actually real, or at some time w/in the last 2000 years he'd have come down and said "ok look, the main book about me - the Bible - is immoral, it says to kill gays in multiple places, and instead we should love gays, I'm sorry I didn't tell you this sooner." And then fewer people would hate gays.
I think Dave himself is Muslim, however.
