    Here are the letters..........

I haven't read the statute, but the CFR is 8 U.S.C. § 1373, but it's about time the DOJ demands compliance if they want to get their Byrne JAG grants. When they applied for the grants, they signed on their applications that they would comply with CFR 8 U.S.C. § 1373. So, it appears the Obama DOJ simply wasn't requiring compliance with the law in order to receive Federal Funds. Hopefully, the current DOJ will look into who made that decision and refer them to the FBI for investigation and possible prosecution for misappropriation of public funds. It's time to clean up the swamp.

    I will update this thread once I have read CFR 8 U.S.C. § 1373.

Does anyone doubt the left will simply lie and forge whatever it is they need to in order to get the money?

Jeff Sessions has been an amazing choice as A.G. and we can only see in hindsight how Obama, Holder, Lynch, Johnson, etc. violated the law and worked actively to bring the nation down from within.
I can't wait for this stuff to hit the fan in Los Angeles, Chicago, NY, Seattle, etc.

It's so refreshing to see laws executed. Under Obama, I just got used to the idea laws were to be ignored.

I still can't believe there are actually people in positions of power who think like I do.

    So much win.

If you listen, and the wind is blowing the right direction, you can hear them wailing and tearing at their eye sockets.

    The left has a response:

Sanctuary city advocates are advising local officials across the country to ignore evidence in government databases linking illegal immigrants to vicious criminal gangs or terrorist groups, The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group has learned.

The advice is included in a
72-page step-by-step manual on thwarting federal immigration laws and regulations. The manual was published in March by the New York-based Center for Popular Democracy (CPD), a left-wing tax-exempt political advocacy group.

The “toolkit” in the Protecting Immigrant Communities manual urges city and county officials across the country to adopt CPD’s “model legislation” or similar ordinances designed to weaken federal efforts to enforce the nation’s immigration laws.

Its “model legislation” seeks to protect illegal immigrants who are linked to gang activity or ties to terrorism, saying “the (proposed) ordinance should not exclude people with criminal convictions, or people who appear in law enforcement databases that attempt to track gang activity and terrorism.”

I hope CA voters realize what this means.

CA is actively protecting the violent gangs and the people pushing drugs.

What a bunch of lunatics. You couldn't make this stuff up.

Good. I can't wait to watch the construction and farming industries go into the toilet. When it happens, no blaming Democrats.

A person from south of the border can do those jobs if they're legally. Why do you oppose being here legally?

People hire who will work for them in those industries. That has nothing to do with Republicans or Democrats. Go ahead get rid of all of them. Within six months Texas politicians will be putting signs on the border begging them to come back when the construction industry is reduced to ashes.

You are right. That is why we need to figure out how to get those people who are here busting their tails so people like you can have nice homes to live in legal instead of rounding them up and kicking them out. Right now though I'm on board with you guys in this. I want to see it happen. Deport them all. Let those farmers pay the same wages for half the production. Should do wonders for food prices. Can't wait till a new home costs 50 grand or higher over prices now,and it takes twice as long to complete.

Immigrants in Georgia were making 20 dollars plus per hour working as pickers. When they all left and farmers had to hire all new pickers, the food rotted in the fields. Production was cut in half.

I am in the construction industry and construction sites are mostly Mexicans. They were ghost towns when the Latinos took their day off a few months back. What is going to happen when that day turns into weeks?
