They were launching an effort to decapitate via show trials the entire Exec branch.

You'll note that Page, Strzok, Preistap & former FBI Gen Counsel Baker have all been demoted, reassigned & have no duties. Why? Why not fired? This angers a lot of people. The simple answer is: they're witnesses w deals.

The entire time mueller has had key anti trump people under his thumb accomplishing little, Jeff Sessions & OIG Horowitz have been documenting the coup & building criminal cases.

Andrew McCabe was permitted a lawyer bc he's almost certainly under indictment; Horowitz has a prosecutor & a grand jury empaneled. The way OPR handled McCabe proves it.

1. Comey harmed Clinton more than anyone when he played politics when he sabotaged Clinton a few weeks before a national election over absolutely nothing.
2. Trump lost pop vote by 3 million votes and registered democrats greatly outnumber registered republicans.

 

Robert Mueller demonstrated when he prosecuted and hounded an innocent man for years (Stephen Hatfill) why I have called him Inspector Javert {the relentless policeman from Les Miserables).

Hatfill sued the DOJ for Mueller's relentless persecution for years after it was known to Mueller he was not their man in the anthrax attacks they were investigating.

Hatfill became six million dollars richer thanks to Mueller's blind ambition and awful decision making.
I would go so far as to say Trump has a duty to fire this man whose investigation has taken on a life of it's own as the lies about Trump being in Putin's pocket (remember those?) have completely fallen off Mueller's radar and Inquisitor Mueller is now blindly thrashing around looking for anything he might get Trump on.

The McCabe Mutiny

The Federal Bureau of Investigation was a constitutionally suspect proposition from the beginning. Law enforcement is best handled at the local level. But Prohibition brought graft and corruption, followed by violent crime.

Enter the FBI.

But 75 years after Prohibition ended, the FBI is still here -- spying on Americans, trying to frame President Trump, and even investigating Jeff Sessions, who is the boss of the Department of Justice.

On his own -- answerable to no one -- McCabe investigated his boss.

That is insubordination. McCabe's Mutiny is further proof that the FBI has too much power and its leaders believe it is answerable to no one.

"The Special Counsel's office has informed me that after interviewing the attorney general and conducting additional investigation, the attorney general is not under investigation for false statements or perjury in his confirmation hearing testimony and related written submissions to Congress," attorney Chuck Cooper told ABC News on Wednesday.

McCabe needs to be prosecuted.

We also need to replace the FBI with an agency that serves local law enforcement.

The FBI should keep (and improve) its background checking operations. It also should help train local officers. It should be a great resource for local (and state) law enforcement.

But the FBI's public corruption operations are an embarrassment.

From Abscam to Raymond Donovan to Marion Barry to Ted Stevens (home repairs are bribery?) to Bob Menendez, the U.S. attorney's office and the FBI have repeatedly taken cases to trial that should not have gone beyond a grand jury.

Oh and of course Hillary Clinton, who actually broke the law, got off scot-free.

We need a federal police force.

Just not this one.
