According to anonymous intel officials quoted in the New York Times, U.S. intelligence officials made a deal with Russians who offered unverified, compromising material on Trump.

A Washington lobbying/consulting firm, the Podesta Group, founded by Obama adviser and Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and his brother, lobbied for Russia’s largest bank, owned by the government (or, as you like, President Putin). John’s brother, Tony, also lobbied for Ukrainian interests (reportedly in partnership with Trump associates Manafort and Gates). John Podesta left the firm years ago; Tony stepped down last November amid controversy over the lobbying. He has not been charged with any crimes.

The Podesta Group also represented Russia-owned Uranium One, which received approval from a federal oversight board that included the State Department under Hillary Clinton to buy about one-fifth of the U.S. production capacity of uranium, a key material for making nuclear weapons.

Uranium One interests reportedly contributed $145 million to Bill and Hillary Clinton’s charitable foundation.

This seems a little more recent than 1993.... :)

They openly lobbied foreign agents and took in millions to pad their bank accounts. They were among the most crooked people we have ever seen in our government. I wonder, did she corrupt Obama or was Obama was crooked as she was?

Hillary was the queen of using her position to get rich, illegally.

She didn't have to corrupt Obama....he didn't need any help....he also welcomed the Podesta Group into his White House as well.

I wonder did Obama know he was working with paid foreign agents? Don't forget his White House Counsel Greg Craig was charged with not registering as a foreign agent...for Ukraine

    Quick question to the crowd:

Trumps lawyers are saying that the POTUS enjoys absolute immunity. Would that not suggest that Obama's actions would be legal as such?

Or just for while he is in office?

That makes you 100% wrong? lol No golf and...well, you know. :)

I haven't heard about this nor is it news here, at least not what I am seeing. Trump isn't guilty of spying on a rival campaign or a transition team for political purposes so when Trump rises to the level of maleficence as Obama, then we can have this discussion.

Who cares whether you watch Fox News? The strength of a point rests in how well it conforms with reality, and has nothing to do with who puts the point forward. Who ever was supposed to teach you how to reason and think did you a grave dis-service. You should demand a refund. The good news is that with the internet libraries and your computing device, you can access information and educate yourself. So, you are a most fortunate!

It's shocking what some Democrats defend: China, open borders, releasing felons, locking up business women, throwing #METOO overboard while embracing illegal spying and unjustified house arrest, for the WHOLE COUNTRY!

Somebody has lost their way, but those that lose their way, can find it again, so once again, you are in luck!

Trump's lawyers are arguing the same theory proposed by the Obama Admin of "absolute immunity" for certain staffers from having to testify in Congress. Not from their actions.

And any privledege or immunity a President has, by their office, ends when they are not in office.

Intercepting communications between Russian assets isn't spying on the campaign. Unfortunately some of those assets were part of the campaign.

    Ah well. Agree to disagree.

If someone other than Susan rice authored the inauguration memo, that would be more crimes for Barr to prosecute, if he's actually interested in restoring the idea of universal justice under the law. Specifically, you could charge forgery as well as identity theft.

Then again, maybe these too are abuses that no matter how egregious, we just have to let them pass.

No one cares. All you have to do is register, which Manafort did not do until it was too late to protect him.
