they actually proved guns were going from America to Mexico, sadly the tracking devices failed and they could not bust them red handed though

yep, not wise to throw themselves into this issue, just lost the business of many on the right by doing this... never good for a business to get into a hot political issue

All they had to do was nothing. Instead they get involved. Management should get fired.

Since Dick's Sporting Goods is going bankrupt, they are just getting a start on destroying inventory.

The metal and aluminum used in assault rifles can go toward recycling, making products that actually benefit the people.

exactly, or even quietly just stop selling them if that is what they wanted to do, but they choose to announce it to the world

most Americans had no clue they sold them to begin with, so this was pure stupidity on their part

i always think it's amazing when business do stuff like this, they just do not realize they will probably lose a large number of customers by taking sides on a hot political issue

Bass Pro Shop has lots of guns and some of the most comfortable mens boots around. Hubby loves their boots.

Bass Pro Shops is also owned by Sears Holdings, which isn't doing too well.

It's really a rather weak publicity stunt.

What a shame all our stores are closing. They couldn't keep up worth the cheap stuff coming into the country so their products that use to last for years are not as good anymore. I use to shop at Sears when it was Sears and Roebuck.
My mother bought my first donkey aka Mexican Burro from their catalog, came in from Mexico on a train.

That's what it is. I don't think it will work. Banning guns isn't really a popular idea.

She was a two cycle had a hell of a kick into gear. She could peel you off in all gears.
I could out ride every mechanical bull rider in town though after growing up bare backing no bit donkey riding. Most of them probably never even seen a donk much less broke and rode one.

With less competition the price should increase just a bit, allowing small gun shops to be more selective in who they sell to. I believe one small gun shop chose not to sell to Nikolas Cruz.

Also, the perception of assault rifles is becoming less "normal" which is a good thing.

Bass pro just bought Cabela's for $4,000,000,000. They must not be doing that bad.

If I was a stock holder I would be pissed. You have a company that is down 39% in the last year, failed to make yearly earning and destroys inventory. I think you have a CEO trying to draw an inside straight, hope his gamble works for him. Well liberals it is up to you to bring this company around, because I will not shop there.
