I think you mean anti Hillary Clinton - anti Maxine Waters - anti Hank Johnson - anti Sara Palin - anti George Bush - anti Donald Rumsfeld - and anti Dick Chenny groups in the US.

Companies who cave to the whims of Libs will regret it. Once you give in, they know they can push you around and then they will look for the next thing to get outraged over. These companies don't realize the Lefties will not support them with their wallets like the Right will do to support their causes. All they do is lose customers.

Come on how Maxine is too confused to even know where Russia is. Seriously we need to get resources to anti Russia groups in Russia.

If 18 year olds aren't mature enough to own a gun, why would they be mature enough to vote?

As the pro-gun stop shopping at dicks, and the anti-gun cheer them on!... but still shop at REI instead.

So what? That just makes way for more small businesses that sell firearms.

Demand drives supply. Touchy feely BS from a company here and there trying to cater to libs is nothing more then a joke that is to be mocked and ridiculed.

Your first sentence was correct, shame you had to F it up with the absurd stupidity of the second sentence.

My take? They could/should have donated the rifles to their local/state police.

I love how you are all about economic demand but don't seem to give any thought to the public demand that something be done about the completely out of control gun violence in this country. Leave it to a conservative to think literally the only thing of any importance on this entire planet is the dollar. Talk about something to be mocked and ridiculed.

    He-he!

Look, whatever your (or my) personal opinion of Putin, the fact is that he is the only thing standing between the world and the list of names I supplied in my last post. If you don't think that is important then you and I won't have very much in common.

No wonder you are anti-gun. You have absolutely no logical abilities to process information. Do you think that 35 or so stores destroying their small leftover inventory of semi-automatic rifles is going to have any effect at all on stopping school shootings?

You mean they don't work? Gun laws haven't stopped school shootings.

Yup. I have no intention (or need) to go to Dick's Sporting Goods. Part of it is because my sons are no longer involved in sports, but part is just general principles.

I get it. now. You're really pro-gun, and are pretending to be an anti-gun idiot.

The cartels are not buying semi-automatic "assault type" weapons in the U.S. and smuggling them to Mexico. Why should they? They are buying full automatic assault weapons and RPGs from different Latin American militaries. Admittedly, the cartels may have bought some handguns in the U.S. (handguns are harder to buy from military sources), but it's nothing significant.

Sears and Roebuck was the Amazon of the turn of the 20th century. They just didn't keep up.

I dont think Dick's understands supply and demand...
Dick's is dumb. You'd think a big retailer would understand supply and demand.

Those guns were paid for. The gunmakers already made good on their investment. That money will go to make more guns, which will be sold at higher prices due to lower supply/higher demand as a result of their paid for products being destroyex, which will give the gunmakers more access to resource to make more guns and more money in the long run.

If Dicks truly wanted to reduce guns, they would have given those guns away instead of destroying them. This would decrease the demand in the market, lower prices, and cause gunmakers to have to invest more for less returns, decreasing their overall output.

But then again, Dicks probably does know that. They're just showboating for morons, instead of making a real difference.

What guns laws? You don't have any, that's why they don't "work".

OK, then name one. Not what it is called or how many of them you can name - but what it stipulates. Then we'll see what you mean by "more than enough".

Our gun violence is not "out of control." It's a little more than half of what it was in the 1990s.

Background checks, age restrictions, permits required for certain classes of weapons such as whether it is fully automatic or not, permits required for concealed carry, magazine capacity limitations, where firearms are allowed to be discharged, etc etc. Varies by state and community. Definitely more than enough.

The public demand for gun control is far less than the demand not to restrict gun ownership.
