That you think the JCPOA permanently barred Iran from making a nuclear bomb is enough, on it's own, to reduce this garbage post to what it really is.

Your attempting to hang this on Trump? Yes, it is extremely pathetic. Very much so.

Reported 14 hours ago, Iran will never hold talks with America, the country’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on state television Tuesday morning. “Iranian officials will never talk to America .... this is part of their (U.S.) policy to put pressure on Iran ... their policy of maximum pressure will fail,” Khamenei said.

Reported five hours ago, President Trump on Tuesday said he would prefer not to meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly next week.

“I never rule anything out, but I prefer not meeting him,” Trump said aboard Air Force One.

CNN reports, "Saudi Arabia recovered fully intact circuit boards from one of the weapons used in the attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities, according to a US official with direct knowledge of the latest information.

"Both drones and cruise missiles were used in the attack. The official added that the Saudis and the US expect to be able to trace to Iran for the point of origin of those boards and possible flight data.

"The official told CNN that the weapon recovered was one of the missiles that missed its target completely and landed in the desert intact. That is where circuit board was retrieved.

"The official pointed out the attack was sophisticated, specifically designed for plausible deniability by virtue of the route the missiles took. It also was a route that avoided the areas where the US has highest concentration of US intel assets that might have detected the flight."

The bottom line: The serious risks of a heightened military standoff with Iran call for a well-developed strategy from a White House not known for its orderly policymaking.

Joel Rubin is the president of the Washington Strategy Group and a former deputy assistant secretary of state.

A war with Iran will make the Iraq war seem like a walk in the park. Nearly 5,000 Americans were killed in Iraq, nearly 25,000 wounded, an estimated one million Iraqis were killed, and the war lasted eight years at a cost of $2.4trillion. Sixteen years later, our troops are still in Iraq fighting the enemy.

Where is our President? Out west, campaigning for reelection.

    Is it?

Trump forced Iran into a corner and Iran has struck back.

Signed during the Obama administration, the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) permanently barred Iran from making a nuclear bomb. In May 2018, Trump removed the U.S. from the JCPOA and reimposed the harsh sanctions that stuck a dagger into the heart of the Iranian economy. Iran’s economy came under unprecedented pressure thanks to the reimposed sanctions, especially oil sanctions, with negative 1.5 percent growth in 2018 and an expected negative 3.6 percent growth in 2019.

Iran has bombed and seized oil tankers. While technically a member of the JCPOA, she has resumed her nuclear research in earnest. She has exceeded the amount of processed uranium. She has exceeded the level of uranium enrichment. She has shot down a very expensive American UAV that was spying on Iranian military bases.

All of this came as a result of Trump's regretful decision in May 2018.

And now this, the destruction of a vital oil refinery.

As Trump goes on the campaign trail, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have seized a vessel in the Gulf for allegedly smuggling 250,000 litres of diesel fuel to the United Arab Emirates, Iran’s semi-official news agency ISNA has reported.

Trump leaves behind the Office of the Director of National Intelligence without a permanent director. Trump fired Dan Coats months ago. His secretary of defense has been on the job for all of two months. Trump has no National Security Advisor. He fired John Bolton a few days ago. His chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney is acting in an acting capacity.

You said, "Remember why he pulled out of the deal?" In other words you don't know why Trump removed the U.S. from the JCPOA. It sounded like you did.

Also, you ignored everything else in the post you responded to. Believe me, I understand. There isn't much you can say. Trump is a loser.

So you dont know why? You blame these events on it, you should know why. Your own posts says they were not honoring the deal, what would you have him do? Send billions of dollars in cash, on pallets in the dead of night to possibly the biggest State sponsor of terror on the planet?

There is alot I could say, but why bother? You hate Trump and no amount of facts in the world, will change it. Why waste my time?

What we are seeing right now with Iran is Iran meddling in America's 2020 Presidential election.

    Where is Wikileaks ???
The DNC emails need to be hacked !!!

Is Iran in collusion with the DNC and are part of the "Resistance" to defeat Trump in November of 2020 ?

If Trump bombs Iran the Democrats will use it against Trump that he broke his campaign promise of no more stupid wars.

Iran committed an act of war against Saudi Arabia.

Like guring the first Gulf war (Desert Storm) Saudi Arabia paid the USA to attack Saddam Hussein forces.

    The way you put it:

Implies that you have an opinion on why Trump pulled out. Maybe I didn't make myself clear. I was asking you why you think Trump pulled out of the deal.

You don't want to give me your opinion, do you? If I am wrong, please tell me why Trump made the rueful decision to pull out of the JCPOA.

    I do know why.

True, after Trump removed the U.S. from the agreement. Iran followed suit and violated the agreement just as Trump did. Trump set the precedent.

A pro-Israeli source? You got to be kidding me. Netanyahu encouraged Trump to removed the U.S. from the agreement. Our President complied with the Israeli request, and we find ourselves in the situation we are in now. Iran has seized oil tankers. Iran has mined oil tankers. Iran has exceeded the amount of processed uranium. Iran has exceeded the level of processed uranium. Iran shot down a very expensive American aircraft. Mostly likely Iran is responsible for the attack on the Saudi oil refinery.

All because Trump listened to the Israelis and did their bidding just as he did when he unilaterally declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel and moved our embassy there.

And now you want me to listen to a pro-Israeli source to justify Trump's actions. That's a joke, right?

Earlier today, Trump ordered new sanctions on Iran.

The President made the announcement as some Republican lawmakers have called for military strikes against Iran and Vice President Mike Pence has suggested a military response is possible. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called the strike on Saudi oil facilities “an Iranian attack” that was an “act of war."

    How?

Why do Trumpets have such a hard time explaining themselves?

Is it because what they are saying makes no sense?

Why have you been so obsessed with the Obama Admin. agreement with Iran anyway? You know full well that it didn't really prevent the Iranians from developing nuclear weapons. Besides which it wasn't binding upon the U.S. anyway as international agreements binding upon the U.S. have to be in treaty form and thus ratified by the U.S. Senate additionally with supporting legislation passed by Congress and signed into law by the president.
