It would be nice of sites to poll the posters from time to time as to what ought to be posted.

Racism is a right. Blacks use racism a lot and it is clearly one of their rights.

Are you sure about that? Those wanting it for the purposes of (their own) entertainment, more often than not wouldn't give it to anyone else unless it served exactly the same purpose - for exactly the same brand of entertainment.

Likewise, the PC Crowd are often regarded as A$$holes, 'and they become unpopular in general', in 2017.

We had puritanical conventions in the 1950s. PC is just another version of the same thing.

I think it is a slippery slope. I am a Conservative banished with many others from a site described in my posting name. We were all considered racists, homophobes, Islaphobes and all the phobes the liberals could throw at a wall and make stick. Remember, we are Hillary's irredeemable deplorable s. So if we start defining things as racist and phobic.....who knows where that could go? I would votr both yes and no, so what would it matter?

Way I see it, if you can't discuss a topic without resorting to profanity and insults then those personal flaws should be addressed before entering a forums with Men and Women that can.. I don't see your problem really, there are literally thousands of forums you can visit to match your qualification EBAUMS might be a good start! If Racial stuff is your gig there are hundreds of black, white, Hispanic and others you can bum rush and get your rocks off it's that's your thing.

Makes no sense to attempt or discuss established rules on this site when, as you stated, there is the unbridled freedom of YouTube, go, an be happy! You could also for free, create you own forum, Hundreds available, and have your own house with your own rules :)

choose 'differently', is probably a better way of saying it. whether you personally find it 'poorly' or not is irrelevant.

Nah. Some choices are clearly bad, and while I support their right to make bad choices, I will excersize my right to call them on it.

Really? I thought there were a lot more members then. Can mods answer that question?

One is simply speech and should not be illegal; profanity can have benefits in conservation. Racism is more than speech and should not be lumped into the same question. Racist comments might have some limitation but in general should be legal.

Like most forums, it's more then likely a half dozen posters with a half dozen alts that they roll out to incite, instigate and escalate threads! They push the limit on one toon and then retire it "PF Infraction rules" and use another from their stable while the others timer plays down.. Most mods don't have a lot of leeway when it comes to IP tracing and without it their hands are pretty much tied with even the most basic means of multiple account detection :(

I dunno, I've worked my whole life on construction crews, underground and around some pretty raunchy guys and girls, and I haven't seen profanity as nothing more than a irritant after awhile! I guess anyone that believes profanity has it's benefits has never worked two years with F'n Joe! This guy couldn't talk about anything without at least a "F" every three or four words LOL. F'n Joe received his nickname in the first week and by the end of two weeks ate alone, and these were some gutter mouth guys that got tired of listening to him!

Time and a place, and moderation! I see a forum like a restaurant with a mixed crowd, if you don't subscribe to it there, then the same applies to open to the public online forums.

Incessant profanity is obnoxious and totally ineffective. But a well placed word of profanity can make an effective point better than most others.

Profanity is the tool of the ignorant. Just listen to Antifa, and other anti Trump rants.
