Romney is losing in almost every swing state. He has no chance of winning the election. He is awkward, pandering, and secretive. He is possibly the most unlikeable candidate for president we've seen in some time. Its pretty pathetic that the only reason most people are voting for him is because he could unseat Obama. Unfortunately, incumbents tend to win when their opponent isn't liked by their own base.

If Romney is willing to get down and dirty, he can win. But he is going to have to dig up Obama's dirt and show it to the world.

We all know that Obama never has run on the issues, he always uses lies and innuendo. Romney has to run both on the issues while at the same time air Obama's dirt.

It really is Romney's race to lose and he will lose it if he doesn't sling crap faster than Obama.

obama's "dirt" is a factual review of obama's record. Once the convention is over, I think the nation will get thousands of lessons about b.o.'s total failure and complete incompetence. ALL TRUE AND PROVABLE.

There is even more a need for straight talk, he said nothing that wasn't already being said and he spoke with authority.

You know I thought Mccain was the worst, but romney is sure showing him how bad it can really be!
Now that he has caved to the radical right with ryan on the ticket, it only gets worse.

    Willing?
Hell he hasn't placed an ad ot uttered a sentence that wasn't 'down and dirty'!
Ugly campaigning is the stack and trade of the rightwing, it's the ONLY way, other than blocking voters at the polls, they can 'win' an election.
    Answer this question honestly,
Name one republican that has run a clean campaign which wasn't based on 'the other guy is terrible, vote for me instead'.
    Just one.

I find it interesting that ever since bush the failure was called, rightfully, 'bush the failure' and it was clearly pointed out how epic he failed, the right has called President Obama a 'failure'.
President Obama has not failed at anything, he may not be the best, but he certainly hasn't failed.

Considering........8.3% unemployment, 14.9% underemployment, less work force participation than in decades, more folks getting on the disability roles than finding a new Obamanomics job AND GDP @ 1.5%. I really don't see how he can lose.

It was the Olympics... not the Cold War. You're a visitor, not a paid critic... especially when you're on record citing unforseeable circumstances. I don't expect the tact argument to sink in, though.

Had President Obama said the same thing, you and your fellows cons would still be foaming at the mouth with your patented phony trumped up outrage over it!

Lets face the facts, as long as they an R next to their name they could set fire to a gunny sack of new born kittens on the East lawn of the White, LIVE on prime time television and you people would defend them for doing it.

no, it's because Obama doesn't have the character to say the same thing that we don't like him in the first place.

The truth is not something we have had to worry about from Obama.

Was he invited to be one? If not, this "authority" wasn't welcomed, thus unnecessary... especially when the point of your ventures is to build a foreign repertoire.

There's logic for you. Not only is tact no longer a necessary quality for the leader of the most powerful nation in the world, but "tactful" and "truthful" have become mutually exclusive. But these poorly formulated ideas do help explain why Romney supporters cannot see through his veneer to understand that he is in this race to serve one thing only: his own ego.

The liberal reporters on Romney's trip blew everything out of proportion. They intentionally created gaffes in their own little liberal minds. The Tomb of the Unknown soldier was the best example. A place of reverence and respect and we have the oh so tactful liberal idiot reporters SCREAMING at Romney, "What about the gaffes?" Did they say a word about the ugly rudeness of the other reporters? No, they fixated on a Romney aide's under the breath condemnation of their total rudeness.

The only ones that looked like punks and incompetents were the reporters that instead of covering the story, created the one they wanted shown. There is absolutely no integrity in the liberal media or in liberalism. Liberals are completely dedicated to the idea that, "The ends justify the means." no matter how unscrupulous those means ARE!

The country needs RESCUED AND REPAIRED.

Now it will get the R & R it needs.
