Trump is a Trump first 'patriot'; Trump and the money he just can't help referring to are his life priorities as ample precedent shows. He cares nothing for America except how much money it can generate for him. Prove me wrong. Both he and his opponent are cynical, self-serving scum of the worst kind. America is truly f*cked.

Oh they'll let him, because most of his supporters aren't even paying attention to him and what he says, since they are too busy laughing at and celebrating about the folks who don't like him. It's really no different than my children who pretend something has great importance just because it happens to bother one of their siblings.

"Dad, it's really important to me that I walk around making dinosaur burping noises. It has nothing to do with my sister getting upset about it. For true Dad!".

Trump will be elected by a majority of children. Thank any heavens that might exist that it's not a foregone conclusion just yet.

He has enough money, he has his own world-famous brand. His current ambition is to get on Mount Rushmore by "Making America Great Again" and whether he does it because of patriotism or vanity and self-aggrandizement or both is irrelevant as long as he succeeds.

I obviously disagree (about both actually :) ) but let's say you are correct. When the leadership of an entity is taking that entity in a wrong direction and the proverbial cliff is fast approaching - it is time to completely replace that leadership with someone, anyone who wants to change the course away from the cliff.

Communication is about understanding. We understood him correctly, which we explained and the left disregarded, while they were over-reacting. Some folks are simply given over to being drama queens, and that is OK. I've read it has something to do with being addicted to your own stress hormones, so freaking out is a fix of sorts. It certainly beats more destructive addictions, so by all means, continue.

That's strange. If he modifies a position, bringing it closer in line to yours. Then why do you refer to it as "driving off a cliff"? Shouldn't you be agreeing with him?

And yet, you are supporting the most thin-skinned, v@g-sore drama queen to come down the pike in recent memory. One whose play book is comprised is fear mongering, while hyperbole, lying through his teeth, and juvenile attacks, and his lowest common denominator supporters slurp it up like the faithful, mindless little lapdogs they are. It is an interesting thing to see blatant demagoguery in play.

He hasn't modified his position. He has just qualified whether or not he is going to do something about implimenting it should he become President. He is still doing the same characterizations of an entire religion as a sop to his more xenophobic supporters.

I enjoyed watching you pretzel yourself into a condemnation of Democrats as a way of escaping the realization that you have been contemptuously manipulated by your hero, Mr. Trump. So many of his supoorters enjoy the dismissive cyunicism with which the Donald waves away his opponents, that it is quite a shock to see themselves getting the same treatment when it suits their idol. Sorry about that.

But he is not wrong. The vast majority of people from an entire region absolutely hate the USA and the western world. The problem is that many on the left and liberals are too thick to understand that simple fact that they're also hated by the very same people they defend.

So being concerned about life and national security from terrorists makes one a racist. That's rich. You people will say anything to strut stupidity.

There are some who are intent on beating that slur of "racist" to death.....using it as a personal attack on anyone who has the nerve to disagree with their politics.

Isn't it his "suggestions" which became the driving force behind his rise in popularity?

A temporary moratorium on immigrants from the middle east (where millions hate us and have sworn to kill us all) until a better filtering process can be put together, is common sense. Anyone who can't see this is the moron and fool. However, if you wish to entrust your family's lives to total strangers, many of whom want to murder you, then you are free to move there.

Wait a sec, drumpbot that's just a suggestion now, which means it isn't going to happen. I'm sure to the chagrin of all the knuckle dragging racists out there.

Similar to anyone who voted for drumpf thinking he was anything more than a reality TV star duping short bus riders.

In the matter of banning Muslims and building a border wall, the authoratative force of his proclamations inspired people to trust his leadership. "Suggestion," in contrast sounds like a wishy-washy liberal in a focus group.

He didn't say (*)(*)(*)(*)abkit the Middle East he said "Muslims". But please continue defending the Trumptard. The majority of the country thankfully won't buy into it which will leave the Trumptards crying like babies.

Where did he mention immigrants in his "suggestion"? Are you now stating that not only was it just a suggestion but is now not going to apply to tourists?

Perhaps you could also explain how this "temporary" could actually be carried out in practice?
