    A top CEO calls out Trump's racism

    London (CNN Business)The CEO of German industrial giant Siemens says that President Donald Trump is becoming a symbol of intolerance following his attacks on four female members of Congress.

    "I find it depressing that the most important political office in the world is turning into the face of racism and exclusion," Joe Kaeser said Saturday on Twitter.

    Kaeser's remarks are the most prominent criticism from the business world in reaction to Trump's rally last week in North Carolina. The US president attacked Somali-born Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar and the crowd chanted "Send her back! Send her back!"

    One problem is that your alt-right fake news paints liberals this way, and you and your peers and your Russian manipulators paint liberals this way. Most people recognize racism and call it out accurately, as we are doing now with Trump and his racist redhat supporters. But your false idea of liberals allows you to dismiss this very valid criticism as just more noise by that dehumanized group of people whom the above actors continually paint as irrational and dishonest.

    Your entire "political" position here is ad hominem, to attack the liberals and the Democrats and progressives as a whole and purely on a personal level, and ignore everything they say, and by extension ignore everything that anyone, anywhere says that you don't like, since you're already well conditioned to lump such people, e.g. principled conservatives and Republicans who don't carry Trump's water, into that dehumanized liberal/progressive/Democrat group.

    There you go. One person makes a mistake and you generalize based on that to marginalize all "liberals" (assuming Erica Thomas fits the definition of such) as "kneejerk."

    I see a lot of kneejerk reactions by the pro-Trump crowd here, who see a fake news piece in their social media feeds, have a kneejerk angry reaction to it and rush here to post it.

    Footnote Trump in fact told away one of the reasons for me to have pride in my country in that I was always of the opinion that if such men as Hitler or Stalin had been born in the US they would never had been able reach any position of power.

    Hell both Hitler and Stalin was far brighter then Trump so god help us if any such monsters would have been born in the US as it is bad enough with dealing with just a stupid demagogue.
