She gets death threats all the time especially after Trump has been geeing up his ignorant morons who get high by thinking the are superior because of the colour of their skin. People who have a genuine right to be angry but the inability to discriminate and see they are being distracted from the real causes of their problems to hatred of an other to make themselves feel better.Trump is a super elite and that is who he is in service to. Corporate Power and fascism are bedfellows.

Trump has the White Nationalists shouting how Jews will not replace them and killing women. He has the Christian Right. Those are his main people plus sadly a few who are suffering and he has tapped into the worst in their nature, to feel better by harming others.

I agree with Trumps assessment that these are American citizens with the absolute right to stay here and he did look uneasy during those chants but I do understand the passion of the crowd voicing their opinion on these communist that want to destroy America. I'm also certain most if not all of them away from the exuberance of the crowd would agree that as citizens you can't send them anywhere based on their anti American views.

Her death threats come from Trumps base. No, it is not normal for people to be getting death threats and that very much includes Politicians. This seems to be something brought in by the far right, in the US that is Trump supporters. The way he was speaking the other day about her was basically geeing his fans up to hate her just like Hitler used to do about Jews to get the German's to hate them. Any fool watching would imagine they would be a hero to kill her. I think it has got to the point now anyone trying to deny the US under Trump and possibly the Republican party is moving towards fascism must want it. Thankfully I hear this is not what the majority of American's are made of. Let's just hope they get out and vote in 2020 or the US is up the creek - and given that we should be addressing the needs of the planet rather than regressing to pur lowest selves, that may just be the end.

 

Yes, but the point is that he was criticising what he believed the policies of the President at the time was doing to the USA and saying it could be better. His opponents are now criticising what they believe the policies of the President now is doing to the USA and saying it could be better.

Challenging the accuracy of their specific criticisms, the quality of their solutions or the manner in which they present them would be perfectly valid (towards both them and Trump) but that isn’t what this is about. This is about saying that politicians (or at least certain politicians) shouldn’t be allowed to say anything negative about the USA. The automatic dismissal of any criticism of his policies as hateful or anti-American is indefensible given he did exactly the same thing in the past.
