I also posted proof, a link where DoD says there are 30 000 ISIS left in the area, and they are only 20% done with training. Ironically even UN, who routinely disagrees with US at every turn, also recently said they estimated the ISIS strength at 30 000, and what was before Trump knee-jerk "get out now" order (which is now "get out in 4 months").

Actually, now that Trump apparently actually listened to some good advice, so that he is withdrawing over a reasonable period of time in order to allow coordination with Allies and ground forces, and to allow proper planning to remove troops and equipment, I'm ok with it. My problem was the abrupt and unrealistic time frame and apparent lack of planning. I don't think it was a real case of "mission accomplished, we won" as he suggested, but the operation did make it very unattractive and 'costly' for ISIS to hang around, and there are far fewer of them left.

Arab website, give a perspective you don't get from the MSM. And they should be embedded much closer to the source of these stories. What they say makes sense and kinda aligns with what Trump was saying.

In case you don't know, which you apparently do not, she serves on a House committee that deals with such matters, AND she did one tour at least in Iraq, so she has hands on experience about issues that you and I deal with as armchair quarterbacks. Also, she visited Syria herself, and met with Assad. She knows more about it than you and I ever will.

 

30,000 in Iraq and Syria. Were you expecting us to kill the 30,000. Defeat of an opposing force does not require the death of every last one of them.
