I just think the OP and all of the anti trump people are crazy to think most American's even care about this. I would guess for most Americans the biggest issue right now is if they will be able to put food on the table for the family. America's loss of jobs has really hurt this country and most American's have more serious things to worry about then some stupid lie that Trump said that has nothing to do with any of them.

I will agree that Trump did make himself look dumb for saying that but like I said before his biggest enemy is his mouth.

Well i'm not perfect and I admit when i'm wrong and it was wrong of me to call you a troll and be rude like that. I don't remember calling anybody a troll before (well maybe 1 other person) and that was way out of line. I need to practice patience and more respect towards other people I disagree with.

 

I think in this rare instance I'll be going with his wife's thoughts on the matter rather than relying on the usually highly accurate explanations form the assortment of yahoos defending the bloated turd wrangler squatting in the WH.

Word to the wise. There's 3 major camps of voters. Right base, left base, and independents.

On this subject: the right won't be converted, and the independents are smarter than both bases and won't give it the time of day. So all you're doing is supplying fodder for the echo chamber. Every time the left pushes a subject with this level of relevance, all it serves is to add more "corny" to the cup, that quite frankly, already overflowith.

Both sides only have one rule they need to follow, and are making things way more complicated than they need to be.

"If it won't swing independents, the subject is a negative for your side to bring up."

It is an insult to their intelligence to think petty party stingers matter to them.

What I would like to see is someone run that wants to not only make America's economy great again but can do so with the support of both parties voters. I think both parties agree on the main issues such as creating more jobs and improving the economy across the country so that American's can enjoy a better living and the poverty stricken areas don't have to rely on food pantries to get by. There is areas such as one in OH where the economy is so poor a food pantry is needed to keep people from starving. That is the problem I am most concerned with. Get rid of NAFTA so jobs can't leave America and create as many jobs as possible. With more people working we would have more money and we could lower taxes a little or use it to pay off the national debt. Trump has yet to kill NAFTA and this is a deal breaker for me. I am giving him time to do it but if he focuses to much on NK and does nothing else I will not be happy.

Trump possibly lying about someone being his friend is the least of my worries right now.

This election we had two bad choices but Hillary was in my eyes far worse (a criminal) and Trump at least talked about the economy, Nafta and saving/creating jobs while Hillary was to busy calling my family deplorable so that is why I voted for Trump. I felt I was doing the right thing. If I am wrong I won't vote for Trump in the next election. We can only hope for the best. Thanks for the comment about me being nice but sometimes I do need to practice more respect.
