Are you just feigning, being that dim? Of course I could say, but it has nothing to do with this question, because "murder," (or homicide, to be more technically correct, legally speaking), is the killing of a person, but an embryo or early stage fetus is NOT a person-- which is why abortion is allowed, and not considered homicide or murder. Those, like yourself, who do consider it thusly, are out of synch with the majority of society.

The idea that you are supposedly trying to defend, in fact, is that this life that could potentially be aborted, should be considered a person. So you are putting the cart before the horse, to bring up a concept (murder) which, by definition, only befalls those who have already been defined as human beings.

 

I see it as an alternative to an abortion also.

Rape is a crime against a person.

Allowing it to go unchecked would cause chaos in society, laws do deter it and the CRIMINALS who committed it are punished because it's against the law.

Getting pregnant is NOT a crime even if those who don't want women to have rights think it is.


Abortion is NOT a crime against a PERSON and does not cause chaos in society.

I hadn't realized what a chore, you find reading to be. But it is pointless to try to convince someone why they should entertain other points of view. And, just out of politeness, if one was involved in a discussion or debate with another person, as I thought the two of us were, it is I think a minimum expectation, to pay attention to the responses to your own points, just as that would be true, in an actual conversation.

It's too bad we have so many delusional people who think fetuses are persons and so trample on the rights of real people to save them. I'm not entirely sure how this will turn out. I guess money we would have sent to help people in other countries will now go to help women in red states get abortions. I sure would never want to live in a state like that.

Calling California a Democratic "petri dish" is absurd. Anyway, I moved away from California because I don't care for their economic policies, particularly where housing is concerned.

I feel sorry for people suffering through ignorant red state social policies.

 

Housing prices are ridiculously high because Democrats haven't had the political courage to tax the crap out residential housing into turned into investments. My last house in Napa was worth more than $1m almost 20 years ago.
