I'll ask again, in full clarity: From January 2017 to January 2019, Republicans had the majority in both the House and the Senate. That was the time for your "full congressional investigation." Why now? Because Durham has found nothing, you're now wanting that congressional involvement? I feel safe in assuming that you want it immediately after the next congress convenes in January 2023, if/when the GOP regains the majority. I also feel safe in assuming that's the buzz from right wing sources. Polly want a cracker?

 

cmon AN. Your defense is that the data was immaterial since they cannot participate in US election is just crazy. They DID, and Mueller proved that they did. The only thing Mueller could not prove was that the data they used is what came from the Trump campaign. You dont have to be Sherlock Holmes to see that 2+2=4.

The T**** campaign wanted the Russians to have the polling data so they could target their "innocuous Facebook Ad buys" to hit the target sections who were skeptical of Hillary.

A great political scheme UNTIL you involve a malign foreign country to provide the money and ads...

 

He can't prove it, because it never happened and we know it never happened since they couldn't prosecute it. It took way less for them to 'open the investigation'. In other words, we don't believe in the conspiracy even if others do.

I find that to be very relevant. Russian intelligence was behind the hackers at the infamous Internet Research Agency. They targeted specific voting districts with misinformation through social media, primarily Facebook. It's possible, even probable, that the Trump campaign's polling data that Manafort handed to Kilimnik was used to determine where to focus their misinformation campaign. It could not be proven, therefore Manafort wasn't charged with a crime on that issue, but the intent seems evident.

Have you never served on a jury? Legal expertise is not required. All selected jurors are given detailed instructions in accordance with the procedural rules in that state or locality. For federal courts like this, the same set of instructions and information is used everywhere in the country.

List the actual charges Manafort went to jail for, and you'll have your answer on your "proof". I'll give you a hint, it wasn't anything you've listed. Tax evasion, obstruction of justice because he lied to investigators and the case in NY got kicked out of court. Bottom line your facts on why Manafort went to jail are dead ass wrong.

 

The reality that the right doesn't want to admit or deal with is that their heros are mostly crooks and/or liars.

Where did anyone EVER claim that? Sorry, but although both sides are far from perfect, it really is much more crooked on the right, based on known actions and subsequent investigations.

The GOP investigated Hillary how many times? If you combine Benghazi and her home server, I'd say she is the most investigated political figure in history. Either she committed no actual crimes (other than the slap on the wrist that cost her the election), or she's one of the greatest criminal masterminds of all time.
