You know the problems of the candidates (mainly Trump) of trying to talk over their opponent, interrupting, and all that.

The solution for most of those problems is unbelievably simple.

Put an electronic timer on the candidates microphones. When it is their time to speak the microphone becomes active for two minutes and only two minutes. During that time the other candidates microphone will not work.

Wouldn't this prevent a lot of the problems shown last night?

What's to prevent them from just elevating their voice level or just basically yelling ??

No way, would get rid of too much moderator/media influence and slant. Would never be implemented despite being a great idea. Presidential Debates have been a total farce for decades now due to media bias, last night's scam was no exception.

Ironically, it costs the DNC millions of votes, and MAY have even cost them the 2016 election. Americans in the center hate "home cooking" whether in a debate, a sports field or anywhere else, and allowing Trump to assume the "unfairly attacked underdog" role in 2016 may have tipped the scales.

The average American voter's view of big media is so tarnished at this point after the Muhrussia Hoax, the Fake Impeachment, the Kavanaugh Debacle, the COVID Fakery, the BLM "Peaceful Protestors" sham, the Black Crook "Victim du jour" scams, the Flynn Scam, the Stone Scam, the Manafort Scam, and DOZENS of other easily discovered media LIES about Trump, etc., that Trump could blast a fart cushion or clown horn every minute and people wouldn't judge him for it.

It would ruin the speakers who take too long to get to their point.

Best to have one candidate on to answer 20 questions. The person asking the questions should be chosen from the audience by lottery. Give the candidate 3 uninterrupted minutes per question for answers. After 3 minutes turn off the mic and ask the next question. The next night do the same with the other candidate. The written questions should come from the opponent, not a bias moderator.
The next week give one candidate 3 uninterrupted minutes on each subject they wanted to rebut from their opponents answers. Then the next night do the same for the other candidate.

Shock collars. Each interruption increases the voltage. If you knock yourself out, you forfeit.

It would help if the moderator wasn't biased and did his job. Trump rocked last night in spite of the clown show. Not a single mind was changed and it didn't net a single vote for the Dems, if anything it confirmed what so many thought was going to happen. Biden got a heads up before hand, Wallace went extraordinarily easy on Biden. It all seem so scripted and Biden wasn't led off script because they know that's where it falls apart for him. The next debate Trump will hammer him. I think in all fairness there should be a conservative moderator for the next debate. How about Rush or Hannity, Liz Wheeler or Dan Bongino.

Put them in separate rooms with a camera on them. Have them on big screen monitors in front of the moderator or better yet panel. Have it split screen on the broadcast or better yet the broadcast by one or the other so we don't to see the rolling of eyes and fack laughters. They get asked a question and their mic is turned on and the off and then the other gets theirs turned on for the response. Then have an interaction with 30 seconds each for a couple of alternating rounds. Then next question.

And it was Biden who started the interrupting and talking over

    Thats it exactly. :applause:

Perhaps with a dash of good ol' fashioned 'you can't tell me how to behave' in there for good measure.

When you paint someone as the epitome of evil as the MSM has Trump, all he has to do is not be the epitome of evil to prove them wrong. They've given Trump liscense to be a total jackass and still be better than they claim.

...and he used that liscense last night.
