    It doesn't.

    Correct. What's your point?

What's the evidence that ongoing lockdowns save lives?

Probably because, if your 8-yr.-old is reading Mein Kampf, you've got bigger troubles than political correctness.

So, you think we should compare hundreds of years of one thing to one year of another?

The OP is crying about Ebay treating Seuss in a bad way.

    What's the OP point??

Because I think he already said that it's NOT the same as being against the "N-word"-- it's the same as being against exposing CHILDREN to the N-werd, by someone they think is cool & who's held in high regard & respected, even by the teachers, son!

So, instead of letting your pre-pubescent kid read Mein Kampf (I guarantee he/she gives up, with boredom, before getting to anything objectionable), it's the equivalent of letting your little one go off to Aryan Camp for the Summers.

No, it wasn't. Banning sale of second hand Sues books doesn't hurt Sues in any way. It already sold those books.

The point was obviously about what EBay feels people shouldn't be allowed to distribute. Children's books that may be slightly questionable, not allowed. The hate screed of a genocidal dictator, that's allowed. Double standard is rather apparent, no?

Where in their policy do they specifically mention children?

The OP is about Ebay targeting Seuss books but not much more offensive books. It's not complicated.

Do you think this belongs in a children's book?

In the same way as being against mask mandates PRE-COVID was not murdering people.

    No

Ebay had nothing to do with their decision? Interesting!

You quoted a CBS News article, which quoted this statement from eBay: "Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises' catalog represents and supports all communities and families." So I replied, "except Jewish communities apparently." This is in references to the fact that they didn't ban Mein Kampf.

Except eBay have LITERALLY banned the sale of the Seuss books while still allowing Mein Kampf! Are you saying that this is fake news?

So this is about a private company making a business decision. And, also, an opinion on having a free open market (Amazon will still carry the books). Oh, and invoking 'Hitler' when it's convenient (I thought that was supposed to be a leftie trick!)
