Of course, Its far riskier to shoot someone who is also armed. THAT IS A FACT

Well, it's intuitive at least. Armed or not, it's still easy to get a drop on someone.

Especially when you pass laws that pretty much ensure that the person you "get the drop on" has been legislated defenseless...that's what most gun control laws do. In truth, any person trained in self-defense, especially in firearm self-defense, is trained in the color code of awareness and is NOT an easy to target "get the drop on". With current gun control laws, its sad that the teachers at Sandy Hook were left with only their "intuition" to defend themselves and the children. To me, the blood spilled at Sandy Hook and other such tragedies is on the hands of the hoplophobic left. That's what is really shameful.

If I shot you, you would have had to become a threat to me or mine and I would most certainly wait around to make sure you couldn't defend yourself. Besides, some body would have to wait for the LEO to come and make a report on your fatality. :)

Two issues, 1) who decides what is or is not a threat, and 2) if I was going to threaten you, it would be with a gun and you would likely not see it coming. Sleep tight.

Criminals are not the infallible Masters of Combat that the Compliant Victim Left deludes (or is it "fantasizes") them to be.

Sorry to pop your bubble. They can be outshot, and killed in a gunfight...and it happens almost every day.

    - - - Updated - - -

Any law abiding citizen who is NOT a Leftninny can determine who is a threat

and you are an admitted BACKSHOOTER,and have the gall to try to take conservatives to task for seeking to protect themselves.

    Jesus these people are idiots.

Using Chicago, and its violence, as a means of pushing gun control and background checks.

We already have such stringent gun laws that citizens can't even protect themselves or their property, and yet STILL when the agenda fails these (*)(*)(*)(*)ing morons play the victim.

My god. Stupid is as stupid does.

Perhaps you can tell us. Not that car accidents or drug overdoses are assaults, and thus shouldn't count.

Yes. So why doesn't Chicago addres their own cities gun violence? Why don't they go in and take guns away from the criminals who are shooting and killing each other daily in gang violence....not to mention the occassionally innocent bystander? Is this not important to them????

You've seen way too many movies. Even in the 1800s West, duels in the street were more rare than virginity. Everybody is/was a backshooter, whether the guy being shot is/was armed or not. Welcome to the real world.

Because this isn't about making anything safer, it's political jockeying about eliminating, or in this case getting around the constitutional amendment that allows the rights of citizens to be armed. If it were not an orchestrated effort to manipulate a way to violate that right it might be different, but it isn't.

Ya see, here's your problem. A lot of people have NOT died from DUI car accidents because somebody stepped up to prevent people from drinking and driving. A lot of people have NOT died from drug overdoses because of the war on drugs. By your goofball gun logic, people should automatically drink before they drive and they should do heroin every chance they get, that is, if they want to live.

I do, and then a jury does..right after your funeral.

And that would be that last thing you ever did on this earth.

... because that would only be possible in your dreams.

    I do...every night. :)

So by your goofball logic, everyone that handles a gun either kills or gets killed.

Nah, let him have his delusions. Only cowards make such empty threats because in reality they lack the skills or the courage to make it real. :)

Gun deaths are simply random and do not depend on whether or not you are carrying. The cop on the MIT campus got killed FOR his gun.

So gun deaths are random, but the MIT cop was killed for a specific reason.
    Please try to make sence.

Please try to spell "sense" before asking someone to make it. "Sence" makes it sound like you are trying to prove you don't know what the hell you are talking about.

So, you support concealed carry... GREAT!

And some get killed for their money..... some get killed for their car.....so its the ownership of "things" that cause gun deaths....

therefore, gun laws could not have prevented the COP's demise--- GOT IT!

I'm sure glad the democrats killed the bill before it could become another useless gun law.

    Whatever Mr Spelling Bee.
Going there only proves you cant hang with the conversation. You have no clue about gun crime, gun ownership or the Second Amendment.
Tell ya what, Gun Show. Melbourne Florida next weekend. Come picket if you have the brass.

I do know about gun crime and gun ownership, but it'd be hard for me to care less about the 2nd Amendment.

I'll be in Las Vegas next weekend. You can have Melbourne, Fla.
