Put out a credible story and maybe there can be a legit discussion. As of now, it would appear to be fake based on the source.

When Newsome isn't removed from the recall election in California (and I predict he won't be removed), there will be a need to audit the recall.

EDIT: There will also be a need to favorably compare the provisions of California election law and the proposed provisions of federal election law by the house.

For being so wrong and strident about it, I thought some facts might help you refine your arguments and make them more meaty.

Facts would be nice. A conspiracy theory website and a personal blog are not facts.

Facts would be links to actual Ca laws regarding registration from the State of Ca itself.

    https://www.facebook.com/TorrancePD/posts/10159751639549940

Maybe they just made it up for clicks and likes? So can we have a discussion about it now or?

Basically the reality of voter fraud. How do you feel about that?

Now that we can both move on from debating the validity of the story...did you have any opinions on it? Or were you just hoping to discredit it based on the website that hosted it?

The gateway? If this were true there would be better sources than this. We’ll see if bigger news agencies pick up on it cause I’m sure they’re still vetting sources before it’s reported on.

    ...

Here's a list of cases tried and found in Ca for voter fraud as compiled by the Heritage foundation.

Is this now the point you will deflect the topic to CRT again?

Well now you have another case to read up on and add to your list? Great opinion! False registries claiming an individual is either not of age or living in the wrong district is bad...but the mass voter ballot harvesting are the ones to be concerned with.

Because...you know? Thousands of ballots and all that. Could sway a district or county vote if not caught.

The system caught this fraud voter. That means the system is working.
Isn't there a local tv or newsprint outlet that has run the story. If it is legit, it should have made the local news.

Maybe local news didn't want to draw attention to it based on the vote ballots he was harvesting?

But since the PD posted it...it DID happen. That much is certain.

The dude was caught, the system works. If the conspiracy theory story is to be believed.

LOL, that's hilarious. Not a single local news org covered it because it might make someone look bad? Is that what you're inferring?

What conspiracy? I dunno why the local news didn't report it. Nor do I care. I've lost all faith in news reporting as being both biased and selective.

Why do you think they havn't reported on it?

Or are you thinking that the PD posted this story for clicks and likes?

Whenever election fraud is possible it is likely to happen.
IMO, Newsome cannot lose unless the RP/DP party bosses want him out. IOW, not likely.

“Since the country's colonial days, concerns of voter fraud have inspired ever-more complicated ways to cast one's ballot. Depending on where you live, you may vote tomorrow with a lever, a punch card, a marker or a touchscreen. As election scholar Andrew Gumbel notes, the U.S. has been both a "living experiment in the expansion of democratic rights" and a "world-class laboratory for vote suppression and election-stealing techniques.”

It's obvious why no local news org covered it, they didn't find it a viable story.

I have no idea what the PD posting was for. Probably because they made an arrest? What is the person's name they arrested?
What is the date of the PD posting. Since you didn't actually give a link to that post.

Yes, there is no man made fool proof system. The best we can achieve is to make it really difficult to cheat and have enforcements that are strict in place for those who dare to cheat any system. Fraud in the USA is in the neighborhood of 0.00000004%.

Who told you that "Fraud in the USA is in the neighborhood of 0.00000004%."?

The Supreme Court had to admit the well documented inconvenient truth: the US election system is corrupt. Some may pretend they have confidence in election integrity - when the outcome pleases them, but it is rigged. Ask any informed Bernie supporter.

"It remains true, however, that flagrant examples of such fraud in other parts of the country have been documented throughout this Nation’s history ... not only is the risk of voter fraud real but that it could affect the outcome of a close election."
    Crawford v. Marion County Election Bd., 553 U.S. 181 (2008) (emphasis mine)
