Elite Democrats Join Neo-Cons in Anti-Withdrawal of Troops

Through Bush and Obama I was consistently pro-withdrawal. Why would i change now because orange man said its a good idea?

 

Sort of fits with their MO doesn't it ModCon...
- to use the fruits of others' labors to magnanimously give in the form of entitlements to others
- to use & keep the most vulnerable in a subsistence level of entitlement dependency, as a voting block (notably since LBJ 60's)
- to use the fomentation of race and class angst in the furtherance of their 'Narrative'
- to use largely conservative, nationalistic & patriotic young men as fodder in the high stakes $ game - that is the Military Industrial Complex. (not to say that there haven't been any RINOs or Repubs to join the list). Perhaps it's just me, but I see a pattern...

 

The military industrial complex is a powerful force. I’ve been doing further study on the Syrian Civil War —my God what a mess. My instinct is to get out, use our influence on NATO to establish civility between the Turks and Kurds. Assad sucks, but I’m seriously not interested in constructing coups in the Middle East.

It certainly is more complicated than what alot of people are saying. But if Trump decides to use some private mercenary group like Blackwater he deserves to be spiritually executed by firing squad, along with the other war criminals.

 

Yeah, it was started by a dumb republican, then continued by a dumb Democrat that wasn’t smart enough to learn from the dumb republican.

As I said. Obama gets full responsibility for Libya, and some responsibility for Syria. But he got us out of Iraq. We will be in Afghanistan for the next 50 years thanks to bush

I didn’t vote for Obama, but after eight years of Bush I was exhausted. I was hoping he’d right some wrongs. He had two years of control of Congress. He could have busted up the big banks. The country was a pretty pissed off mood, and had no pity for bankers. Instead not one of those vultures went to jail, not even a slap on the wrist. He could have pulled out of Afghanistan as well. As for pulling out of Iraq, those dates were set before he even got in office. Allot of republicans gave him ****, but the Iraqis wanted a unbalanced SOFA agreement. As for his foreign policy, he was Bush Lite. He did hammer out a deal with the Iranians, and opened up diplomatic ties with Cuba, which I applauded.
I’m not completely partisan, I’ll give credit where credit is do.

 

The US had nothing to do with the Arab spring,. Libya or Syria... Both were bound to erupt.. it was always a matter of when.
