Elizabeth Warren releases DNA test with 'strong evidence' of Native American ancestry

Imagine Trump taking a DNA-test showing he is 0,1024% "West African" and using it as a proof he is in fact Black and thus - in Leftist logic - "cannot be a racist".

 

Isn't Asian and Native DNA very overlapping? I suggest all Asians put "Native American" on their college applications from now on to get the spots that they so much deserve.

Trump would avoid disclosing that information at any cost just like with his tax returns. If it was disclosed that he had one drop of African blood in his body he would lose at least 20% of his support.

 

I understand that this Warren gal is the future face of the Democrat party and whatnot and that you thus feel obliged to defend her because if you don't, your party's future looks very dark. I actually know very little about this woman's political beliefs, how she presents herself and how articulate she is or isn't - Let us say she in brilliant in every of those aspects, but can you at least admit that she "done f-ed up" on this whole DNA-issue and should've just kept silent?

I have read forum posts by Germans saying that they have a much higher amount of Native American DNA than does Warren. So, if Warren is Cherokee, how can you be so certain Trump isn't also Cherokee?

My point is that such claims would be absurd and every Leftist on the planet would, rightfully so, laugh their butts off if Trump calimed his DNA-score of "0,00000000005% West African" tells he is Black. But, for some reason, you guys are not laughing at Warren when she is doing it and I really cannot comprehend why this is.

Furthermore, DNA and Ancestry/blood is not necessarily connected. Population genetics overlap on many levels and this is why even a full-blown Scandinaivan with pink skin, light blue eyes and bleach blonde hair can get a result that show x% African.

That is debateble. I am not completely excluding the possibility of some great, great, great, great grandmother's grandfather's maternal uncle who was a Cherokee. European settlers interacted with the Natives and it might very much be the case that one of her European ancestors went to bed with a Cherokee. However, it is absolutely nonsense to claim that her DNA score is a strong proof of this being the case. Her DNA score really shows nothing that is different fron any other European on Earth.

Although she has kind of benefitted from her perceived heredity, but I agree that racial identity should not have anything to do with merit, I doubt you are consistent on that notion though.

I do not know about that. Trump was obviously just cracking a joke and what this actually shows is that Warren felt threatenned in some way. I really have no idea why she even went on to have herself tested and even harder to understand is why she made her results public when they came back as "White" as they did.

 

The fact that anyone is making an assault on Warren's character because she claimed to have some Native American blood in her shows what a bunch of rotten, petty ignorant turd throwers they are in the first place. I have never met anyone from Oklahoma who did not claim to have some Native American blood. I never hear anything from any right wing posters here or Hannitized morons anywhere that challenge any of Senator Warren's political positions, EVER. I take her at her word that her family folklore included stories of Native American ancestry. That is extremely common in people who have Oklahoma ancestry dating back to the 1800s. The idiotic attacks on her are not her fault, champ. Get a grip.

I would not give a rat's ass if Mitch McConnell claimed to be part Cherokee. She did not bring it up. Her opponent in a Senatorial race in Massachusetts dug up an old application in which she claimed to have Native American blood. She believed that she did as her parents and grandparents had told her. Since then, anytime she has criticized the political positions of any Republican, they start chanting Pocahontas, Pocahontas, Pocahontas, like a bunch of parrots thereby drowning out her valid criticisms. To suggest that it is her fault is lunacy.

She has been bragging about it her whole life. Why do you think it's such an issue? She actually accepted awards as a minority college professor when she was anything but. She wrote a cookbook and labelled herself as a Cherokee Indian, right in the cookbook which it turns out she actually plagiarized the recipes.

 

She put it at the forefront. Her socialist policies are a loser so her opening Senatorial ad was not about her policies but about her DNA test. She is the one putting it front and center. And it makes her come across to me like a whack job.
