Energy Sec. Granholm dodges questions on gas crisis as aides whisk her away, block camera

Basically the same game we've seen run to keep the press away from Brandon (and Brandon away from the press). Staffers instructed to keep the people's servants as far from the people as possible. People on the right know the far-left progressives that run Brandon's administration wont entertain discussion of to ease our oil crisis because they don't want the crisis eased. But with midterms coming up they cant take the risk of people on the left finding this out and so we can expect to see more of this.

POLITICIAN DOESN'T ANSWER JOURNALIST WHILE WALKING.
You understand that journalists should of course ask their questions as often as they can. But the odds of a politician answering while walking somewhere are between slim and none. There must be thousands of hours of video of politicians refusing to answer any old random mike shoved in their face. I know it feels fun captioning these moments 'politician runs away' (both sides do this. All the time) but this is really truly meaningless. Actually Granholm's aide asked the reporter specifically to send them their question and she would get back to them.
The last time this was actually worthy of the current events section is when a reporter ambushed congressman Michael Grimes. Grimes threatened to throw the journalist from the 1st floor and threatened to snap his neck IIRC. It became news again, when Michael Grimes was caught for tax evasion.
But other than that, a politician not answering a question from a reporter who literally jumped out at her is really absolutely meaningless. I won't deny you your petty spin of the situation. We've all been there. But this really is absolutely as meaningless as possible.

 

No kidding.
Granholm (or any other person or politician, regardless of party) is not required to answer a thing.
Especially, when it is shouted at them from some Partisan (Faux News) Moron.

C'mon, you need to come up with something better than this. Unless you are claiming that all public officials have to stop and answer questions from anyone whenever they are accosted. I didn't want to waste the time looking it up, but there are probably hundreds of instances of politicians and government officials not answering questions hurled at them as they are travelling from place to place.
Did you notice all the smiling going on at the beginning? Nobody was outraged by it until Fox blew it WAY out of proportion, and the haters got ahold of it.
