    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-...anagement-team-state-department-just-resigned
In a move that could be interpreted as the swamp draining itself the entire senor management team at the State Department just
all left their positions at the State Department though it's unclear if they are leaving government itself or not.

Let's stop and think about recent State Department "accomplishments" (Hillary Clinton's thumbing her nose at national security
concerns notwithstanding). The Russian "reset". Benghazi attack and cover up. Iran acquires clear path to nuclear missiles.
Refugee crisis in Syria. Illegal coup e'etat in Libya and Ukraine. Honduras and Haiti thrown to wolves, etc. http://www.globalresearch.ca/hillary-clintons-six-foreign-policy-catastrophes/5509543

Most of this has gone on without any press coverage to speak of but that's how things go when the ruling party is controlling
90% of mass media and what it reports (and does not). Could we not really do without these architects of failure who childishly left in a snit
(relieving Rex Tillerson from replacing them anyway, perhaps)?

You'd better believe that the government approved media will instantly report when anyone so much as farts inside Trump's State Department now but that's how it goes when the entrenched interests of the entire left wing feel threatened because they backed quite likely the worst presidential candidate ever!
Will the State Department grind to a screeching halt now that senior leadership is gone?
Or will anyone notice, outside of the massive bureaucracy itself? Only time will tell but if for no other reason than this action alone, by
sniveling self pleased State Department bureaucrats, the Trump presidency is paying off like a Vegas slot machine on steroids.

They are showing just how "tolerant" they really are. They also did the Trump administration more good than harm by leaving. Who needs such close minded individuals working for them. Clearly these people would not have been able to perform their duties because their ideology demands total obedience. Democrats have become a sad bunch.

More likely they would rather resign then be fired.... They cant hold up the Tillerson nomination forever.

More openings now for some deserving employees.

Those former Obama staff members can take their lazy butts to the unemployment line.

They are only interested in serving the American people when it's under their own political side, otherwise, they'd rather just go home. See ya!

Nothing ---- compared to the problem we have convincing half the American people what the difference is between right and wrong, and how badly they allowed Obama and his people and the mainstream media to completely buffalo them for the past 8 years.

Great topic, and the above is especially spot on. :clapping:

In the private sector, these state department clowns would have been fired or forced out of their jobs long ago. Good riddance. :applause:

Trump said he would reduce the size of government by attrition. People who resigned or retired wouldn't be replaced.

This good news might get even better! A State Department with nobody at the wheel. Although I must admit, considering their recent track record, I'm not sure we'd be able to tell the difference.

ITT: People who don't realize that these officials have held their titles for multiple sets of Presidents/Administrations (hint, they worked for both Republicans and Democrats). It's not that they are partisan lefties, it's that they just don't like Trump himself.

The great sucking sound you're hearing is all the snowflakes curling up in the fetal position and admitting defeat. Finally we have leader who's not afraid of 5th column media attacks.

Admitting defeat? No one is admitting defeat. This is one country. We succeed or fail together. I suggest you divisive, tribalist righties learn, and do it quickly, that your 4 years of hilarity will be an utter failure without bipartisan support.

Mexican relations are the worst they have ever been. We're in bed with inhumane dictators.

Things are going to get bad.

This is good news & bad. The bad is the timing. Tillerson won't officially take over until sometime next week, so, it's a bit irresponsible, IMO, for these top officials to walk out now. a little strange if you ask me.
The good is they're gone and it'll give the new SoS a head start on draining the swamp.

Trump's border wall will protect us from Mexicans and also Islamic terrorists trying to infiltrate over our southern border. It's going to be a major win-win thing you should quit hating on Trump - he's only trying to do a good job. I don't think he's been golfing even once since he was elected the guy is a workaholic.

I believe many were also Bush staff members also.

He hasn't got time for golf-he's on Twitter 24/7, whining.

    - - - Updated - - -

Sadly the Trumpistas who were irresponsible enough to elect him are also terminally myopic. Things will get infinitely worse.

If a person is so ideology rigid that they can't do their job for someone who doesn't agree with them they should resign. They would be a hindrance to the new administration. So it sounds like Obama had the place stocked with snowflakes.

    - - - Updated - - -

Probably because with the kind of attitude they demonstrated they wouldn't have been good employees

Actually it was 4 people who apparently resigned.

Other than Kennedy, all of them were appointed to executive positions (as prior ambassadors) by the Obama administration.

How did you draw the conclusion they "just don't like Trump", other than inferring that from the timing, and assuming they weren't asked to resign?

Yes, because the person who said that is president. Right? I mean, Trump is beating the unity drum. His (*)(*)(*)(*)ing idiotic supporters though are still high on their pyrrhic victory to actually bother listening the their CiC.

But do go on excusing your vitriolic nonsense by using Hillary Clinton against those you disagree with.

Let's see how far it gets you.

Yes, please, explain to me how the wall stops anything. Except the hearts of the idiots who believe it will actually do a single thing to stop anything you describe.

    Please, tell me, in detail.

I know how does Trump still have a working twitter account? If I posted 1/10th the crap Trump posts every day I'd have been super secret 100% banned years ago. How does he get away with it?
