And apparently they brag about how they'll just use tunnels to get around the wall... That's about as retarded as announcing to the country that your city will be a sanctuary city for all illegals.

We have ways of catching people in tunnels, and now that they were stupid enough to brag about it, we'll be able to send teams to focus on tunnels.

No organization is "cripped" by having it's heads out of office for a month or so. These are the people who set policy and direction. Having those posts vacated isn't going to suddenly mean our ambassadors have no idea what to do.

Trump has said his first priority is to get control of the borders, to shut down gangs and drug flow, and to remove criminal illegals. I think that's a good thing, don't you?

The rest of it is certainly a concern, but he has a priority based plan. Let's give him a little longer than 6 days to resolve the problem, shall we?

Update: according to a CNN report - so as always take with lots of salt - the story has shifted materially, because according to two senior administration officials, it wasn't a resignation by the State Department officials, but more of a termination: "the Trump administration told four top State Department management officials that their services were no longer needed as part of an effort to "clean house" at Foggy Bottom."

The Chicago Tribune and Al jazeera are both reporting resignations. I can only find CNN stating State Department officials were fired, but they lie like a rug.
