So you are the one who knows what Trump has.
Glad we found you because over 350 millions Americans don't know.
And of course (according to you) lets all get on your guaranteed train of what Trump has done before any hearing or testimony and just burn him down. No trial, just do what all lefties do and accuse Trump of everything under the sun. By the way, hows that going for ya thus far.
Over 20,000 criminal claims without a single indictment in over 6 years and yet here you are making professions of guilt on a subject you have no clue about.
And you have the balls to come in here like there is some outstanding credibility with criminal claims vs indictments?

And if people don't agree with your Assertions then they are putting Trump over country huh.
Who made you the exalter of all that is unknown for you to even make a comment like that.
George Washington is rolling over in his grave alright. He was against accusers like yourself who thinks they can play judge and jury then try and shame others into believing what you believe.

How about we accuse you of treason and espionage, tell the jury if they don't convict you then they are not Americans because we know you were involved.
The we can do 24/7 media splashes on every major network about your guilt with anonymous insiders close to you that says your a spy.
This is your form of justice? And you thought Washington is in your corner?
Unbelievable. This is what this country has descended too?
It makes you wonder, how many Democrat Manchurian candidates are out there.
Hopefully we will find out November 8th so the country can castrate this form of justice we have all grown so tired of.

So YOU support bringing on 87,000 more IRS auditors over and above the current 77,000 making the IRS the largest government organization with more people than US Customs, The CIA, The FBI, and Homeland security combined. Providing about 51 auditors for every county in the US.

YOU are fine with the FBI getting caught falsifying documents to federal judges to get illegal FISA warrants.

You could care less if any party holds soviet style committee hearings refusing to hear key witnesses or allow cross examinations.

Most voters consider that a dictatorship.
Does that mean you know nothing about it or does that mean you support it?

    Next deflection coming in 3----2----1----

You are in here threatening posters with your own calls to the FBI if they don't post what you want them to post and you claim others are in a cult?

This is what you do? I bet you were calling the police every time you saw someone without a mask or found out they didn't get vaccinated.
You remind us of Goober running behind Barney Fifes car yelling CITIZENS ARREST, CITIZENS ARREST.

Why don't you go call the FBI with your ridiculous posting claims.

It's an OPINION. Just like you type over and over again.
If you want to accuse me of treason and espionage, then go ahead. I don't care.
I know what I've done in my life. No where near perfect, but I haven't committed either as far as I'm concerned.
You sound a little triggered. You should have been prepared for this the minute you decided to back Trump. We're you that naive?

And I never accused you of anything but I do love the word twisting for lack of anything else to post.
I asked you a question. How would you like it if?
    But you knew that

    Says the poster who claimed
And don't even start pretending who I support. Just another false accusation for lack of substance.
But you do love to make accusations based on your assumptions while criticizing anyone else who does.

My guess is that "information" is stored on "documents"(forgive the quotation marks, I'm trying to speak as lawyerly as possible.) and as such, if the "authority to protect such information falls on the President" then that's where the argument is being made.. Which is all well and good for a sitting, incumbent President. Which Trump is not(to his chargin). That would be President Biden(aka: Brandon, but I won't be partisan here, despite my dislike for the President.)

    .US Supreme Court
Department of the Navy VS Egan 484 U.S. 518

    Page 484 US 527
The President, after all, is the "Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States." U.S. Const., Art. II, § 2. His authority to classify and control access to information bearing on national security and to determine whether an individual is sufficiently trustworthy to occupy a position in the Executive Branch that will give that person access to such information flows primarily from this constitutional investment of power in the President, and exists quite apart from any explicit congressional grant
The authority to protect such information falls on the President as head of the Executive Branch and as Commander in Chief.

I told you, I don't care. but you knew that, I'm going on the assumption you can read.
Why are you so upset by recent events? If you are not a Trump supporter, why don't you want to wait to see how this all plays out?
I suppose you only want to see posts that support what you want.
And by the way, the only person who can shame one is themself. The rest don't really matter. But then again, you knew that, didn't you.
My personal opinion is that many Trump supporters feel a little deceived, fooled. They threw their support, often vigorously, at Trump and he is letting you down.
    It's completely understandable.
Next step, learn from your mistakes. Not an easy thing.

That case is clearly about a person's clearance to access information and it does not refer to an ability of POTUS to mess with documents.

Has nothing to do with his authority to classify information?

Thats a knew one on the entire country and the US Constitution.
    Such amazing insight. lol

The president's classification and declassification powers are broad

The president, as commander-in-chief, is ultimately responsible for classification and declassification. When someone lower in the chain of command handles classification and declassification duties -- which is usually how it's done -- it's because they have been delegated to do so by the president directly, or by an appointee chosen by the president.

The majority ruling in the 1988 Supreme Court case Department of Navy vs. Egan -- which addressed the legal recourse of a Navy employee who had been denied a security clearance -- addresses this line of authority.

Steven Aftergood, director of the Federation of American Scientists Project on Government Secrecy, said that such authority gives the president the authority to "classify and declassify at will."

In fact, Robert F. Turner, associate director of the University of Virginia's Center for National Security Law, said that "if Congress were to enact a statute seeking to limit the president's authority to classify or declassify national security information, or to prohibit him from sharing certain kinds of information with Russia, it would raise serious separation of powers constitutional issues."

The official documents governing classification and declassification stem from executive orders. But even these executive orders aren't necessarily binding on the president. The president is not "obliged to follow any procedures other than those that he himself has prescribed," Aftergood said. "And he can change those."

Indeed, the controlling executive order has been rewritten by multiple presidents. The current version of the order was issued by President Barack Obama in 2009.

"There's no question that the president has broad authority to declassify almost anything at any time without any process.

The minute the president speaks about it to someone, he has the ability to declassify anything at any time without any process.

We found broad agreement that a president, using powers granted by the Constitution, is able to declassify essentially anything.

When a burgler enters your house and the police fails to intervene, the burgler is still a culprit.

POLITICIANS REFLECT SOCIETY?? Are you freaking serious??
POLITICIANS are the PROBLEM with society. They make rules for you to follow but they WOULD NEVER DREAM OF FOLLOWING THEM.

    President Trump's crimes?? Really??

Ahhh, January 9. Answer this: why aren't the people who burned, looted, and destroyed the businesses people (your fellow Americans) worked so hard to build on trial right now? Are you ok with that?

Are you going to be ok when the next crisis your beloved POLITICIANS ignore wrecks your property or someone who you loves property or life?

How bout you address the biden families crimes which are easily found with a Google search??

If you can't see the POLITICIANS are the problem then GOD bless you my friend.

    Good luck with that.
