If it turns out to be true that he orchestrated the attack, I hope they do throw the book at him. What a waste of time and resources that could have been put to better use! Ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or political should never be a consideration in investigating a violent attack on another human being.

Every news outlet is reporting that Chicago Police are now treating this as a hoax. I have to assume that it's true. Even all of the leftist MSM are reporting it as a hoax.

But... I've only seen unnamed sources. The only official statement, that I've seen, is that police have changed the direction of their investigation.

Yeah, I do believe these reports. I'd just like to see official statements, rather than the reports of: "sources close to the investigation say...".

Like yourself, I'm treating all these reports as reports, not facts. I'm not jumping to any conclusions like a lot of people have done.
