I hope this doesn't then put this story to bed. What Jussie seems to have done is seriously undo so much great work that has gone into protecting the gay community. Crying about being attacked (by your two hired thugs) isn't the same as enduring an actual gay bashing. It's called acting. Pretending to be relevant because you can't see past your own hatred. This is utterly shameful. And liberal "merkia' lapped it up like cats love cream. Too many real cases will be ignored now because of the arrogance and stupidity of this guy. Smollett's story obviously appears to be falling apart.

If more details emerge that conclusively derail his version of events, I would absolutely be in favor of charging Smollett with filing a false police report.

I think it is terrifying...and the audacity is amazing...personally the socio-political take away is...well...leftist will make up stories, divert much need resources to do anything to gain a political advantage. However, there was no change with regard to Smollett not identifying the race of the attackers (the released initial police report shows no race in the demographics section for either suspect).
