Well I'm pretty sure that Mueller has no interest in exploring any Democratic/Russia link, so I doubt there will be anything about that in the report. The report was all about getting Trump and as far as the Russia link goes, that's going to be a disappointment.

So basically you are admitting a foreign national could be distributing what he full admits could be complete bullsh-it he sourced from dubious government sources located deep in Russia in a concerted effort to alter an election in the United States? Like we said, the guy should be in prison for it. At the very least, shouldn't the Clinton campaign and Obama's DOJ have been so alarmed that such unverified and solicited propaganda was coming from Russia using their money that they should have investigated the SOURCING rather than Trump? I guess Russian government meddling with propaganda is good if it benefits you, right?

Such difficult dilemmas you leftists have to deal with. Our Russia propaganda we paid for = good. Your Russia propaganda that you never paid for nor received = bad. It's mental illness. You're sick.

Says the guy who claimed that a June 9,2016 should have been a no-no because they got a briefing from the FBI in late July 2016? ROFL!

Yes, he did LIE to them and he did try to share propaganda to media outlets AFTER being admonished by the FBI not to do so. This lead directly to the FBI firing him: https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/aug/4/ex-spy-christopher-steele-trusted-fbi-despite-misc/

"In September, he briefed a number of reporters in Washington. The act on its face appears to violate the FBI’s insistence that a human source remain confidential. Congressional investigators say Mr. Steele lied to the FBI by denying he had spoken to any reporters."

Another classy, reliable left winger you have there. The man should be in prison.

Kind of like Obama's DOJ could have went after Manafort for crimes from long ago and didn't? Meaningless.

And it's not "Trump's DOJ". Second, Jeff Sessions recused himself from the whole thing. Third, Rod Rosenstein is a corrupt turd. The Mueller special counsel is the one who investigating Russian election meddling. It falls directly on his watch, the 13 Democrat donors on Mueller's team, and the corrupt Rod Rosenstein who is the orchestrator of this political witch hunt. If it was truly looking to go after Russian meddling then Christopher Steele would be the first place they'd investigate and his dubious Russian sources. The problem is their entire money trail all ties back to Hillary Clinton and the DNC. That could potentially but the DNC in the cross hairs. Now the Trump haters can't be having that now, can they?

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/did-hillary-clinton-break-the-law-hiring-trump-dossier-author

The Clinton campaign was long suspected of paying for Steele's "dossier" that claims Russia may have incriminating information on Trump. Its role and that of the DNC was confirmed this week by multiple news outlets.

The law firm Perkins Coie received $5.6 million for "legal fees" from the Clinton campaign and $3.6 million for "legal and compliance consulting" from the DNC while the dossier was written, an unknown share of which reportedly went to Fusion GPS, which paid Steele.

"I think disclosure is not the key here, it's the foreign issue: that is a big damned deal," said attorney Cleta Mitchell, a Republican election law expert and partner at the law firm Foley & Lardner LLP.

"There's been no allegation that the Trump campaign went out looking for ways to get those Russians to manipulate the election for Trump, but now you have these payments to a foreign national," she said.

"There's this strong public policy historically that prohibits paying a foreign national or receiving anything of value from a foreign national in a U.S. campaign," Mitchell said. "If it involves an amount over $25,000 and it's knowing and willful, it's a felony."

Mitchell points to the words "expenditure" and "disbursement" in 11 CFR 110.20, and says it will be important to learn more about Steele's citizenship, residency, interaction with other foreigners and the ownership of Fusion GPS.

Hans von Spakovsky, a former Federal Election Commission member who now works at the Heritage Foundation, shared a similar view when asked to evaluate Mitchell's theory that paying foreigners may be a violation.

"Yes, they are in potential trouble," von Spakovsky said.

"Foreign nationals are prohibited under 2 USC 441e from directly or indirectly making any kind of contribution, disbursement, expenditure or independent expenditure in our elections," he said. "If you look at the FEC regulation on this,11 CFR 110.20, it explains this statute in great detail. If a campaign is involved in soliciting such participation, they are violating the law

Actually, the anti-vaxers and Kennedy assassination nut balls are left wingers. Yeah, these guy are "right wingers": https://www.ranker.com/list/celebrity-anti-vaxxers/celebrity-lists

    ROFL!!!

You really don't want to go around talking conspiracy theories do you? Which political party tried to claim Michael Brown had his hands up when shot even though Obama's DOJ said he did not? Still to this day, you all believe that.

Which political party tried to pass the false narrative that black are systematically hunted down by police officers despite every single statistic available saying the exact opposite?

Which political party tried to pass the narrative that 9/11 was an inside job by the Bush adminstration?

Which political party tried to pass along the pony narrative that one of our country's most respected District Appeals Court judges is a serial rapist?

Which political party tried to pass along the phony narrative that Russia hacked our electrical grid?

Which political party tried to pass along the phony narrative that Trump told Cohen to lie to Congress? And you still clung to it even after Mueller gave you all a public beat down!

Which political party tried to crucify a bunch of teenagers calling them racists as a left wing native american activist with a history of lying and bigotry against religious groups was beating a drum in their faces?

Which political party is trying to pass along the Jessie Mollett phony maga hat 2:00 AM beating?

Which political party has tried to pass the Steele dossier as a real intelligence document?

Which political party tried to pass along the idea that Trump directed Michael Flynn to talk to the Russians during the campaign?

Which political party tried to pass along the idea that Scaramucci was colluding with Russian bankers during the inauguration?

I could make a list of 1,000 different phony theories, fake news, etc. your ilk have tried to pass as truth.

Good God, man, your ilk are epitome of fake news, conspiracy theories, and political propaganda....and it's not close.

Peter Strzok after 9 months being the lead investigator on the Trump-Russia collusion investigation in a text to Lisa Page: "You and I know there is no there there".

Mueller after nearly 2 years leading a special counsel with 13 Democrat donors with the implicit direction to take down Trump with the Russia collusion narrative: Not a single charge of conspiracy. Not a single accusation.

The Senate and House Intelligence Committees after nearly 2 years of investigation and going over thousands of documents and thousands of hours of testimony from ALL the players involved: "We see NO evidence of Trump/Russia collusion"

Looney left wingers after all this: "Trump colluded. We know it."

The mentally ill and low IQ part of the electorate will believe anything. Got a new conspiracy to peddle? You've spent 3 years of your life on this phony nonsense. You're sick. ROFL.

This is true and his scrawny little, corrupt boss Rod Rosenstein has had no interest pursuing it either. Can't be looking at Christopher Steele and his dubious Russian government sources who could be using him to get propaganda out to influence an election in the United States. Their money trail goes straight to the DNC.

Right, but there have been no findings by two investigations so far of any collusion between the Trump campaign and any Russians.

These next investigations will focus on the Democrats colluding with Russia, and there is already evidence that this 'collusion' took place.

It seems you are wholly ignorant of the nature of intell gathering and how raw intell reports are treated. The first rule in intell gathering is that without confirmation it could be bullshit rumor or planted misinformation.

As for a concerted effort to get the goods on trump. Yep that is exactly what the motivation for Clinton's campaign to assume financing the Steele report.

Well if lack of nuance and understanding and knowledge is any indication of mental illness, I suggest you seek help immediately, before you hurt yourself.

I already stood corrected on that one. OTOH, I note that when the FBI warned the campaign, they didn't mention the meeting. They didn't mention that trump was still pursuing Trump Moscow. That there were dozens of more contacts with Russians and they didn't report a single one.

So by all means try to deflect and ignore that the fact that Trump and his cronies KNOWINGLY communicated with Russian operatives LONG after they were warned. But then again, its just another example of how trump ignores his national security experts.

When did he say he hadn't spoken to any reporters? Before or after he gave it to Buzzfeed? I agree it may not have been classy or reliable, but then again, why do you care, given that Trump is neither and a far far far more prodigious liar than Steele?

Nah, when you are as big a hypocrite as most trumpettes, you can't see it.

He was under investigation by the Obama administration. Both the CIA and the FBI. Which is why the alarms went off when Trump named Manafort his Campaign Chair.

I'm sorry, but I thought Trump was President and that the AG was a member of the Cabinet. Yes, Sessions recused as he should have. Your opinion of Rosenstein is nothing more than butt hurt frustration that the guy played by the book.

And once again you attempt to smear mueller and paint his investigation as a partisan witch hunt. Its a pathetic ploy that only the most ardent trumpettes and conspiracy theorists believe, because they have absolutely NOTHING else to use in defense. Of course such a weak defense is to be expected from the same people who don't give a damn about character and integrity in their dear leader but whine like stuck pigs about everyone else who won't buy the bullshit you happily shovel.

And you surely must know that the President has the power to order ANY investigation he wants to. In this case I'm pretty damn sure he doesn't want to order it because its much more advantageous to keep the bullshit alive. Funny how the REPUBLICAN congress and particularly Nunes' joke of a committee didn't see fit to investigate the Clinton/Russia connection. Funny how Putin even stated publicly he supported trump. The world knows he hated the Clintons. He loved trump because trump is so manipulable - narcissists are easy to play.

Your word: "It could be bullshit rumor or planted misinformation". Thank you! You keep proving to us that a foreign national was tapping into deep Russian government sources to get unverified propaganda with which he could hand off to the Hillary Clinton, the FBI, and media news outlets in America in an attempt to stop Donald Trump from getting elected. That is a crime....and his money trail goes straight to the DNC which could put them in potential legal jeopardy, as well, depending on what they knew about the project and the players involved. Considering how much money they were spending I'm assuming they kept pretty close tabs on it.

You act like you are defending yourself. You are making a wonderful case on the criminality of Christopher Steele, possibly Glenn Simpson, and even maybe the DNC since they were the financier of the project. Thanks for making the point. LOL.

So after admitting you got your dates screwed up with regards to the Trump Tower meeting you go on and do it again. The Trump Tower project ended in June 2016 after it was apparent that Trump was going to win the nominee. The project was never intended to part of his Presidency. And the FBI already knew about the project....as well as everyone else. Trump publicly announced it years before the campaign.

And you also keep talking about "dozens of more contacts with Russians" after the late July 2016 warning. Who in the Trump campaign communicated with the Russians in the run up to the election? And what was the nature and reason for those interactions. I'm going to help you research this here so you can answer your own questions and not look quite so foolish.....like you did with the Moscow tower thing still going on in July 2016 and with the Trump tower meeting being in early June. One chance for you to clear the air with the truth. After late July 2016 and before the election in Novemer who in the Trump CAMPAIGN communicated with Russians, when did it occur, and what was the nature of the discussions??? You're homework project. Good luck.

Lulz? There's no humor in our president's campaign being in bed with Russian intelligence, my reality-deprived chum. Here's an interesting (and by "interesting", I mean sickening) analysis of the Steele Dossier:

    https://www.lawfareblog.com/steele-dossier-retrospective

As we noted, our interest is in assessing the Steele dossier as a raw intelligence document, not a finished piece of analysis. The Mueller investigation has clearly produced public records that confirm pieces of the dossier. And even where the details are not exact, the general thrust of Steele’s reporting seems credible in light of what we now know about extensive contacts between numerous individuals associated with the Trump campaign and Russian government officials.

However, there is also a good deal in the dossier that has not been corroborated in the official record and perhaps never will be—whether because it’s untrue, unimportant or too sensitive. As a raw intelligence document, the Steele dossier, we believe, holds up well so far. But surely there is more to come from Mueller’s team. We will return to it as the public record develops.

I see you spin has been revved up to a degree where nothing can penetrate the vortex of bullshit you are engulfed in.

If that is the point you derived from my comments, no wonder you inhabit trumpland.

First, I always admit to factual mistakes.
I also see that you are not up on the facts. Guilianni said "right up to the election" and Cohen has also stated negotiations continued after the FBI briefing.

But you'll just dismiss those facts.

Oh look, seems you need to do your homework. Not that it will help.

You'll notice also that when the Democrats and the DNC pay GSP Fusion, Christopher Steele, et al, and there are dozens of meetings, it's called "Opposition Research". But any insignificant meeting with a Russian by anyone even remotely involved with the Trump campaign is called "Collusion".

There is expected to be a larger investigation under Barr but perhaps I should have said 'the results'. That would include the report from the IGO and John Huber. The investigations so far, with some results issued this past week, have shown no indication of any collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians. https://news4sanantonio.com/news/na...tween-trump-campaign-and-russia-chairman-says

He was peddling it off to reporters in the United States LONG before the Buzzfeed nonsense. Buzzfeed was just the gullible left wing source that finally put it out there in its entirety. The Michael Isikoff article on Yahoo in September 2016 is sourced to Christopher Steele and shows the first inkling of Steele's sick, twisted mind. Even Michael Isikoff now says he was likely getting fed bullshit by Christopher Steele. The FBI had admonished Steele to stop breaking protocol if he wanted to remain as Confidential Human Source (CHS) because of prior infractions in February 2016. The FBI then discovered Steele was running to media outlets in the United States in the late summer/fall 2016 breaking his signed agreement. When they confronted him on it he denied it which lead to his immediate termination. The man was trying to meddle in an election in the United States, he lied to the FBI. He claimed he was getting propaganda from Russian government sources and was using money coming in from the DNC to do it. If Rod Rosenstein and Mueller were really interested in Russian meddling in our elections and potential collusion with Americans this would be one of the first places they should have looked. There is plenty of smoke there to give it a serious look. They've refused....and as a result have turned the entire investigation into a partisan witch hunt and sham. It's not seeking the truth wherever that may be. It's trying to take down Trump by any means possible. It's left wing mental illness.

Then why wouldn't the FBI come to the Trump campaign and tell them of their concerns? Remember, it was a story in the NY Times in late July 2016 that shown some light on Manafort's questionable past. Within a couple weeks he was ousted from the Trump campaign as a result.

It is an "opinion" that is shared my many others. Talking about wiring the President of the United States is not a guy who plays it "by the book". That's corruption. Period.

It is a partisan witch hunt....and I've detailed that very clearly in this post with FACTS. Only one party paid for Russian government propaganda and hearsay. Only one party received Russian government propaganda and hearsay. Only one party used Russian government propaganda and hearsay as a rationale to spy and investigate their political enemies. Only one party's bought and paid-for Russian government propaganda and hearsay was printed in U.S. media in an attempt to sway an election BEFORE the election. If Rod Rosenstein and Mueller really wanted to get to the bottom of Russian government meddling in our elections and wanted to find out if American citizens were knowingly involved in helping them disseminate this propaganda the DNC/Fusion GPS/Christopher Steele 3 headed monster should have been directly in their investigative cross hairs. And these are facts with which you cannot escape.

I agree if it were true. There is also no humor in seeing one party use political propaganda from Russia government sources they paid for be given to the FBI to investigate their political enemies. That makes us a left wing banana republic. No different than left wing Republics like Venezuela or North Korea. And there is NO humor in that. There is humor in your ilk's TDS syndrome, however. Watching yourself try to convince Hillary's obtaining dirt from Russian government sources being "opposition research" while Trump's getting stiffed by Russian government sources being "collusion and conspiracy". It's mentally sick. And you suffer from it.

There is no legitimate analysis from these left wing propaganda sources. Here are just a few of the things the dossier completely whiffed on:

    1. The Steele dossier said Alexsndr Grishiv was the person who hacked the DNC, but Mueller names 12 Russians, and Grishiv is not named.

    2. The Steele dossier said Michael Cohen was in Prague to act as the go between for Russia in the DNC hacking. But Lanny Davis and Cohen has said that all 14 references about Cohen in the dossier are wrong. Not just slightly wrong, but 100% wrong. Even after Cohen turned on Trump he still denies everything the dossier says about it.

    3. After Guccifer 2.0, believed to be a persona working on behalf of Russia, started leaking stolen documents, a dossier report stated that any compromising information Russia might leak consisted of “bugged conversations she [Clinton] had on various visits to Russia and intercepted phone calls,” not stolen emails. Turns out they were emails.

    4. The dossier notes the fact that sometime Trump foreign policy adviser Carter Page traveled to Moscow in July 2016 which was publicly known at the time. But it describes him as meeting with different Russians, Igor Sechin and Igor Diveykin, than those he has admitted to meeting, Arkady Dvorkovich and Andrey Baranov.

Even Andrew McCabe said he couldn't verify ANY collusion allegation in the dossier:

"Congressional investigators asked what parts of the dossier the FBI had confirmed. Mr. McCabe said the only substantiated collusion-related incident was that Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page traveled to Moscow in July 2016.

The answer surprised them: Mr. Page’s trip to deliver a speech at a university was widely publicized at the time."

How despicable is that? The ONLY allegation the FBI could confirm in the dossier was the one that said Carter Page traveled to Russian in July 2016 which EVERYONE already knew since it was in the media in July 2016. Steele took a publicly known event and then added in a bunch of bogus nonsense and peddled it off. Your ilk still believe it.

And where is the real collusion again? https://thehill.com/opinion/crimina...s-comments-suggest-dossier-was-insurance-plan

Since you can no longer defend your untenable position you are resorting to attacks and hate. Typical leftist. Lulz

The FBI is the one saying it went until June 2016. Guiliani never said it right up until the election. He said the statements made covered the time frame right up until the election. You claim to admit to mistakes and then you shoot yourself in the foot with another bold-faced lie right in in the next sentence. ROFL. Foolish leftist.

Not interested in phony alt-left propaganda sites. I asked you a specific question and you couldn't answer. You are dismissed in humiliation AGAIN!

It is beyond hilarious. Getting stiffed by the Russians = collusion and conspiracy. Although, collusion and conspiracy requires two or more parties AGREEING. The Russian lawyer didn't quite see to agreeing. And getting propaganda from the Russians and then using it as a basis to spy on your political enemies = legitimate opposition research. TDS is nasty!
