You're ignoring the vast amount of evidence that supports the notion that the sun will rise etc. Thats not similar to the trust that a God you believe by faith alone will confer everlasting life in heaven.

And, science doesn't depend on trust outside of the foundational assumption that we may meaningfully observe the universe. Science depends on falsification through repeated and indepedet testing and review, yet with the assumption that further testing may in fact still falsify even the best results we have. Calling that "trust", especially when compared to religion, hits me as lame.

Yes, science isn't necessarily cheap. "Cheap" is not the overriding objective. "Cheap" is not the overriding objective in religion, either.

    Trust is not religion.

I dont agree with religion I believe in a relationship with God. i believe religion is people trying to fill the void in our hearts with something that doesn't involve repentance. the void in our hearts is designed to be filled with a relationship with God.

We were created to know God, to return God’s love, and to enjoy communion with God. That’s the meaning of life. We were created in God’s image. When people turn away from God, they feel compelled to turn to something else to define their purpose for existence. The Bible says we can discover God’s reality through the testimony of creation and the witness of conscience.Scripture teaches that we were made to know God and to return God’s love-that’s the sum and substance of every person’s reason for living. Made in Gods image, we sense this truth about ourselves even when we cannot explain it clearly. Our built-in sense of purpose is so strong that when people turn away from God, they will turn to something else in order to make sense out of their lives, to define some purpose for their existence (Romans 1:18–22).

The meaning of life is to know God and to return his love. Many people turn away from Gods clear revelation to make other gods for themselves, but everyone has that desire to seek God in them, whether they are conscious of it or not.

Faith equals "I don't know, therefore God/Theatians/whatever did it" -- based on whatever brainwashing is provided by culture/society.

Do you believe the world is 6000 years old? Do you believe in Noah's ark? Do you disbelieve in evolution? Do you believe the stars are in a firmament (dome) above a flat earth?

If so you shouldn't be a science teacher.

Why do you believe in evolution? I dont believe in evolution, because everything had to come together at once.

Yes, I've suspected for quite some time that you know more about my innermost desires than I do.

Something you can only prove to yourself is likely a hallucination. Do you prove Jesus to yourself by hearing a voice?

    What do you mean?

We all come from somewhere. There is morality. There is a void that people try to fill with various things. That is why i believe bibical Christianity fits together like a puzzle piece.

The discovery of DNA and DNA sequencing have proved evolution. That and fossil records. Funny how you people go to absurd lengths trying to disprove evolution while providing no proof whatsoever concerning your magic man in the sky did it theory.

And what do you mean by "everything had to come together at once?" What do you claim came together at once?

Fits together like a puzzle piece. How so?

Yes, we all come from somewhere, i.e., our parents had sex. There it is.

Many people saw Jesus after he ressurected.
quoted from how to recognize the messiah by crossway. Centuries ago prophets spoke of the coming of a great leader. He would be sent by God and would be called God's Anointed One—the Messiah. The ongoing interest in the state of Israel awakens renewed interest in the Messiah. Here are six descriptions that identify Him:
    1. **He must be of the lineage of Abraham.**Moses recorded the promise of God to Abraham in the following way: "In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed" (Genesis 22:18).
    2. **He must be of the tribe of Judah.** When Jacob was dying, he said to his son Judah: "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be" (Genesis 49:10).
    3. **He must be of the house of David.** In Isaiah's prophecy of the Messiah we read: "Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice" (Isaiah 9:7).
    4. **He must be born of a virgin.** The prophet Isaiah wrote: "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel" (Isaiah 7:14).
    5. **He must be born in Bethlehem as foretold by the prophet Micah:**** **"But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel" (Micah 5:2).
    6. **He must be God.** Isaiah clearly stated that when he wrote: "His name shall be called...The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6).
Two thousand years ago, a child was born in a stable in the town of Bethlehem. He was of the lineage of Abraham. He was of the tribe of Judah and the house of David. His mother was a virgin*. The Messiah has come!*
    **Who**** *****is***** ****the Messiah?**
The only one who meets all the requirements is Jesus Christ. As a devout Jew, Jesus lived a remarkable life. He restored sight to the blind, healed crippled limbs, and even raised the dead. He astounded the Jewish leaders of that time by His insight, wisdom, and teaching of the Scriptures. By His words and works He proved Himself to be God's Anointed One.
Then, according to the predetermined plan of God, Jesus sacrificially gave Himself as God's Passover Lamb. He suffered and died to make reconciliation possible between God and mankind. As the prophet Isaiah predicted: "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not...But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all" (Isaiah 53:3-6).
Jesus, the Redeemer, the Suffering Servant of God, died on the cross of Calvary and was buried. On the third day He rose from the dead and appeared to hundreds of eyewitnesses (1 Corinthians 15:3-8). By the resurrection, God clearly demonstrated that Jesus is the Messiah.
If you have not received Jesus Christ as your Messiah, He invites you to. "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9).

    I mean everything in existence.

That combined with morality and a void in the human heart, is why I believe in bibical Christianity.

. Why are there no missing links today? We see only whole dogs, cats, horses, birds, etc. We do not see creatures that are half cow and half whale, or half dog and half cat. They just aren't there.

. Every "missing link" between ape and man has now been scientifically disproved. This includes Lucy, Piltdown Man, Peking Man, Neanderthal Man, Nebraska Man, etc. Derived more from fertile imagination than from fossil evidence, all have been shown to be either fully ape or fully human.

Even Darwin stated that the fossil record should contain millions of transitional forms to show that evolution is true. Interestingly, the fossil record doesn't contain a single transitional form! It contains only complete kinds, but no transitional forms.

Proving for yourself is actually not only common, but extremely important.
I can remember all the things people told me when I was but a feckless
youth. It took a long time, and a lot of mistakes, before I began to not only
take notice of what people said, but see advice as critical.
That's why it's hard to tell a teenager not to smoke - all the data in the
world might not convince him or her this relates to them.

One person claiming 500 people saw Jesus is not the same as 500 people claiming to have seen Jesus.

Unless you believe in circular logic the Bible is not a self proving document. If you do believe in circular logic all religions must be true.

If you want to bring up the Bible, perhaps you can identify who wrote the Gospels, when they were written, what the criteria was for accepting or rejecting scripture when the Biblical Canon was established 300-400 years after Jesus lived, and last but not least, where is an original Bible (not a copy) to found? Are you are aware that major events in the OT (such as the Exodus) are proven not to have happened.

Your claim about transitional forms is false.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_transitional_fossils

Your claim about Neanderthal man is particularly false. I mention this because Neanderthal DNA has been found in the DNA of modern humans.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neanderthal_geneticshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neanderthal_genetics

I assume you are a creationist. If so perhaps you would care to explain vestigial organs.

Exactly the opposite is true. Evolution is a very slow process except in the case of some bacteria.

Couldn't they have been a different race of humans? For example, when populations intermarry, different features appear than existed earlier.

I meant everything in existence, including where everybody originally come from.

Reproduction had to come from somewhere too.
