You clearly have never read Marx if you do not understand why he believed that anarcho-communism would fail. IMHO he was correct on this point. FYI the anarcho-communists were also correct on why Marxism would fail. Both sides were far better at pointing out the flaws in the others design than they were in conning up with something that actually worked.

It isn't why I support the 2d amendment. I don't even care what antifa says. They are just misguided kids. I care what they do and what they do should put them in prison. The law should deal with antifa. Politics shouldn't enter the discussion at all.

 

And that there is the problem. The law should deal with them, politics aside. But they don't. In Charlottesville it was clear to anyone who watched the video that the police herded those groups to where they were forced upon one another and violence ensued. Berkeley the same thing, Police stood down. Also in Sacramento, the Police for the most part stood down.

As you know in this country both the left and right have supported and espoused violence. I still remember the left wing "revolutionaries" handing out bomb making instructions on street corners during the era of Vietnam war protests.

 

What rights are they fighting for? The right of not allowing others to express views they disagree with as they threaten and shout down conservative speakers on college campuses?

I would like to make a technical point real quick...

Far right. This is a term that originates in Europe referring to fascist movements. The US has never had a fascist movement and it does not actually apply. I think what most people mean is more like fringe right, which has developed as a way to say really far right. But really, the ideology of fascists and those you point to here are diametrically opposed. The Timothy McVeigh guys are really really anti government. Fascists want government to rule with an iron fist. Antifa is an anarchical fascist organization. However to the point, calling McVeigh "far right" is a contradiction in terms really lost in translation because of the difference between American conservatism and European "right wing" conservatives. Conservatism in the US is a mixture of libertarianism (classical liberalism) and religious heritage.

It is all very confused. We are like a mixed race kid who gets stereotyped from both cultures without really being acceptednby either and no real idea of our own identity. I understand your confusion. You need to understand why I say you are confused.
