none have, so if you think the guidelines need to be changed, tell Trump, they are his guidelines

yes, you can be upset at States for following Trump's reopening guidelines as well

If the guidelines don't need to be followed, then they don't need to be changed. The states governor can make their own decisions. They can look at the guidelines and tweak them to fit their state. Not sure why we are going in circles over this, what part of "it's up the governors" are you not understanding?

I am only going by the Trump reopening guidelines, none of the closed States have met them yet - Trump should modify his guidelines

Once again states are opening county by county and guidelines are suggestions not orders. Also remember they are CDC guidelines not Trump guidelines and if he told states to ignore CDC guidelines all hell would be unleashed on him

Why do you keep ignoring the fact that counties open individually within states? A major city in a state may need to remain closed while most of the state should be opened. Washington is one of those states.

Also my personal opinion. We need to learn to live with Covid for a while.

As long as people are free to move around the nation, it absolutely IS a one size fits all thing.

With respect, it's idiotic to suggest that an area with low transmission rates is somehow safe when it has no barriers. It's like thinking your steaks will be safe in a plastic icebox when camping in Alaska, because you haven't seen any bears.

And what's stopping the virus travelling into or out of those cities? Magical force fields?

There is no reason for any place to be closed now.

I am not positive but I don't think so. They should be though, all of them.

It’s about hospitals being overwhelmed not ending the spread of the virus.

so Trump should say his reopening guidelines are wrong and tell the States not to follow them?

You realise they're mutually exclusive propositions, right? If you don't dramatically slow the spread of the virus, your hospitals will be impacted.

exactly, that is why I say the Trump shutdown was ineffective in many States, they had low case counts before and after the shutdown, that means it was of no value to them - the idea was to reduce the curve to a manageable level to not overload the medical system, not eliminate the virus

the best time to get the virus is while the case count is low

Bingo! No hospital is even close to being overwhelmed. Many are sitting mostly empty and have furloughed hospital staff.

It's been slowed, hospitals were fine. We can't stay shut down for a year. Time to open.

    Today.

But your cases are 1.6 million and climbing by 20,000 a day. Very low rate of remission (recovery) too, though that could be a reporting glitch.

Hospitals are fine and always were. No patient went without care.

When will the conservative jury come back in on Fauci? One day he's an asshat, the next, a genius.
